Oh my gosh, this is such a cute, funny, and quirky show! I think it's going to be more on the light-hearted side, but I like it so far. Meow is adorable and Dermdem is like, I don't even know, so cute and funny, too. I like them both so far. I want to see how this story progresses and if it's going to just be more of a fluff piece, which is fine. Currently I watch kinda darker, more serious shows, so it's always nice to have a balance between watching light shows and dark ones.

I agree with you. Popularity doesn't negate how good something is. Some shows struggle to find its audience due to many factors. And sometimes, they are able to find in due time, but sometimes, they don't. And that's perfectly fine, at least for me, because at the end of the day, if I like a show and enjoy it, that's perfectly fine.

I personally like a wide variety of shows, but I do prefer stories with heart to them with stories that get to you. But sometimes, I also like a basic, simple love story about two people connecting and coming together. But I prefer stories with little to romance to them and I don't know why, lol.

So far, this is one of my favorite current airing shows. It has heart to it, the characters are compelling enough, the plot is intriguing enough with the right level of mystery and drama, and I want to see how these characters grow over time, and if they are able to get over their past(s), and if they don't, how that affect not only them, but everyone around them. I think there are a few characters who will definitely choose to hold on to their anguish, disappointment, and hatred than to move past them and mature and grow as people.

And Tofu is an adorable bean baby. And Nut is a character who has created such a shield around him that nobody is ever truly able to fully break through it. And when they do break through a little, even if it's just a crack, his inner demons come out, and because he has kept all of these things hidden and never fully acknowledge them, they come out in full swing. And he's unable to control them because the longer you keep these things hidden/ignore them/etc, they manifest in something deeper and darker (let's say mental health counselling is a professional I'll be doing for the rest of my life...)

So the healing journey for Nut will be interesting. And also, I really do want to see Tofu slowly coming into being his own person. Because I think right now, Tofu is crushing super hard on Nut, and cares a lot about helping Nut and everyone else. Which is great! Just want to see how he continues to evolve as a character both on his own and with Nut .

I'm currently watching KinnPorsche, and it's interesting enough to keep my interest for now. But I'm not feeling it so far, and I think that's more of a 'me' thing. I have noticed I'm very particular about the type of shows I am into.

I think (from what I read) most people are intrigued by the mafia plot, the darker storyline (I think it has an angst-y one and it does delve into more serious issues later down the road??), how hot everyone is, etc. Everyone has their own preferences so that might be it... And if I am not into those shows, well, it's okay. We all like different things. Maybe that's it, lol. Don't know.

Hmm... could be because more people rated it. Could be because some people decided to lower their ratings due to personal preferences. I'm not sure how MDL's rating system works. If it's the same as most rating system out there, or if it's a little different... I'd like to think it's like most rating systems, so once more people rate a show, it can either go up or down...

I'm really torn because Tarn seems like a genuinely nice person. I honestly sorta would like for him to wake up and not die. But if he is connected to Tofu, does that mean Tofu cease to exist? And what role does Neung play in all of this? If Tofu borrows Tarn's soul/memories/life force, etc, why did he inhibit Neung's body? I think there is more to this "miracle." I don't think it's as straightforward as it seems, or maybe I'm looking too much into it. And it might end being a bit more simple than what I have in mind. Mine is all over the place and way too complicated...

I really wish I could read the book. lol. Btw, the upcoming show, The Eclipse was also written by the same author of this book so....

Am I the only one who really do like Joong Woong's character? I know he seems too nice, or too goofy, and is always focused on doing the "good" thing without thinking about the consequences, but I have a soft spot characters for characters like his (I almost always like those kind of characters, lol). And I believe there is more layers to his character than meet the eye.

Yeah I agree. Nut has a lot of issues, and he needs to work on himself, and getting over his past first before he can fully let someone new in his life. And we all know, poor Tofu is related to his past so.... I have no idea how this story will play out since I've never read the book.

Yes, for sure! And maybe talk about things, too, than just fight or keep things buried. But it's easier said than done. Sometimes, it's rather difficult for people to talk about certain things. But I think they might actually talk about these things (well, some of them) by the end of the series...

I think everyone here needs to go to therapy, and not just any therapy, family therapy. Probably not a good idea. But they definitely have a lot of ISSUES 👀 And let's say, it's like good ole' communication went out the backdoor for a quick trip but never came back.

Honestly, I think Nut went through a lot.... There's a lot of layers to his character. I understand where he's coming from and all. But like Saen and Jan, those two just need to talk, because I'm not still not sure who's in the wrong here. Or what happened between them. I think we can all connect the dots... But there's more to that story, or I hope so, at least. Not everything is always so clear cut... Or maybe it is.

And Tofu is so innocent. Like so innocent, sweet, and precious. I'm curious to see how his character develops throughout this series. So far, he's slowly coming into himself, and discovering things about himself.

I think it's due to MDL's algorithm. Usually when a show is relatively new, it gets high rating then it drops. Not sure how they measure it honestly...

I agree! I think those two are probably the only ones so far who have a history that's strong enough to develop a romance from. Tho, I think it might be more a bittersweet romance than anything... Maybe I'm wrong

I think we all know there isn't going to be any major romance plot between any of the main leads here (I think that's how it's in the webtoon, too) but if there were to be, who would you like to end up together?

This show might be my favorite one airing rn. I love the story, the plot, the characters, and they are really tackling some serious issues. I think Joon Woong's childish/light-hearted's humor is sometimes needed to balance out the darkness/seriousness of this show.

Which VPN do you use? Some VPN services are limited and can't always break off Netflix's shield. I use Thailand (with Hotspot Shield Premium) and it works for me...

I think MDL's rating system is subjective (don't understand how it works half of the time 😅)and it seems plot-driven BLs don't usually have the best ratings. The ratings might go up and down by the end of the show.

Either way, if you enjoyed it, that's all that matters, I'd say. Ratings (for MDL) are basically due to enjoyment reasonings and it's hard to tell why someone give something a bad rating. Could be due to many factors. All I can say don't pay too much attention on MDL rating. It's not important as opposed to the live TV's rating.

I think for terms in storytelling and plot, the show is a solid 8.5... It can jump to a 9 later on depending on how things play out.

Yes, this is a Lakorn so it will be very heavily drama-based more than romance. I believe it will focus mostly on family issues/plot than the romance. But the romance will be there later on, just not the major focus.

Yeah I think so. I was a bit surprised by that news so I was curious. I went and check the account in question, and it seemed very unprofessional and a bit odd. The last post was from 2019, I believe. So I had to do some digging till I found Fluke's real FB account and yup, that was a fake account, which Fluke literally made a post about (in 2019) asking for it to be reported....

I think that is a fake account. Because this is Fluke's real FB account (/fluke.wongpian) and he had a post talking about it being a spammer/fake account. So not sure...
