I am addicted to this show and I couldn't agree more that I hope she drags his heart out of his body and stomps…
that poor guy is hurting the worst because he is basically destroying himself. Nan Qiao will bounce back because she is strong, and he will continue to sink silently in his own tears .. :P
Okay so I'm here after watching episode 14&15 I have to say that the scene between Shu yue and shang was so good…
omg yes!! I really liked that whole scene, also the part where chang says, "dont make nan qiao pay for your pains" and shi yue suddenly screams "...then you pay for it" and chang gets visibly startled...two beautiful people interacting ..ah don't know which way to stare! oh yes, loved that happy family scene, I felt like shi yue has suffered so much he deserves this ...he probably doesn't have any family anymore and a warm-hearted friendly person like him needs it. till now with Chang the best and most interesting interactions are with his dad...very sweet! And he seems more himself and actually kind of cute. I really want to know why Shi yue kept the new identity and didnt go back after he took down An Nings husband, its only going to cause problems now with Nan Qiao, because apparently he is mixed up with illegal stuff and dangerous people.
I like how complementary shi yue and nan qiao are, they share a common passion, they both have a similar weakness, so they understand each other a little, and help each other out. With chang, he only shows his best possible front towards nan qiao and some of it even fake, she doesn't really know him at all. His love is not at all honest, so its a given that nan qiao never falls for him. He acts like her little valet/bodyguard which is a completely one-sided relationship. In fact he and shi yue make a far better couple since shi yue has seen his weaknesses(backstabber) and understands the real him quite a bit.
He is just too desperate when it comes to Nan Qiao. Loses all sense of morality and values and willing to sacrifice…
IKR..he may be a little redeemable though, specially if he ends up losing Nan Qiao to Shi yue. The way he acted all those years ago was exactly like the rich, self centered spoilt brat that he was.. He might genuinely have had some feelings for Shi yue though, I hope he pays for his mistake and they become friends again. He is not exactly a bad guy, just a weak coward, these things can be improved on.
The writers and actor are doing a really good job of portraying Chang Jian Xiong. A character that is sorry, but…
He is just too desperate when it comes to Nan Qiao. Loses all sense of morality and values and willing to sacrifice anything and anyone just to make sure she stays happy.
This gives me feels from shows like OC and gossip girls, like even the wealthy kids have problems. Even so, seems a little unrealistic and over-simplistic for now. .
can't seem to get invested in the characters even though the story line seems good. (in ep 8 now) They seem one dimensional and the drama focuses too much on the action .Very plot driven show.
