Just finished this... Please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and by no means am I trying to offend or upset anyone with them! <3
Considering the negative reviews and comments, I surprisingly enjoyed this. Was it incredible? No. Was it bad? No. The chemistry and acting were pretty good (so was the cinematography) and the plot was engaging enough to binge imo. The two main couples' relationships weren't exactly healthy and had toxic moments, but that's what I expected so I can't complain. Okay, I love myself a few kiss scenes here and there in a drama but holy moly there were so many in this lmaoo I mean, don't get me wrong, they were hot, but I feel like it lost its sparks (that dramas like these usually like to convey) in the end...
My favourite quote: “I believe in love. I don’t care how other people define what our love is because our love is real. Love isn’t just about getting married. It’s about human rights and equality. It’s what we all deserve. It might not exist in this society yet, but I hope that one day we will have equal rights. To have and to hold someone for this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness, and in health, until death do us part.” Spitting facts.
I enjoyed this because I went in with the mindset that it would be a silly cliché below average rom-com and that I shouldn't think too much (or at all) while watching it and to just enjoy each scene for what it is. The second half got a bit slow (and ridiculous at times) and I did skip some scenes as they were meh but disregarding that fact, I gave this an overall rating of 8/10 because I really needed a lighthearted escape from reality type of drama to watch and this managed to satisfy that need :D
wait what's this about it being in theatres? i just got here ^^;
OMGGG i screamed, imagine being in that cinema with them!! i hope they film their reactions and put it on the youtube channel, i love watching those types of videoss
