ive been YZ's fan since 2016 and XZ's fan since 2019, i don't mind waiting but it better come out this year. its a modern drama so there shouldn't be to much editing. i'm expecting it to drop all of a sudden like the wolf

well they have the means to do it and its a good idea to get her more exposure

she's actually a great actress though. she has a lot of great works already. i think they did a good job of picking an actress who fits the female lead's description

These are all remakes. the oldest ones were like back in the 1920's based off a chinese mythology "legend of the white snake". I think the first film was made by the Shaw Brothers in HK. The most popular one is the 1992 TV version staring Angie Chiu and Cecillia Yip, my favorite one is the 2005 TV series starring Liu Tao and my favorite film version is the 1993 movie Green Snake (青蛇) with Maggie Cheung and Joey Wang. I like the Jet Li version too. There are literally so many versions out there with different perspectives and recently, Yang Zi and Ju Jingyi acted in two different remakes.

OMG it's finally here after 3+ years of waiting!!! i literally jumped out of bed this morning when my friend sent me the news. might even do some subtitle translating on viki just cuz im so happy ><

not bad for a low budget drama w a bunch of new actors. i didn't think it was particularly amazing but there's good chemistry between the ML and FL. its a cute romance but definitely cant compare to big name c-dramas

sry for the late reply, but han chinese is like the majority of china like 90% of the population so most ppl in china, but usually single (sometime double) character surnames like Li, Wang, Zhang, Zhou, Liu, Yang, Zhao, Wu (these r the most common kinda like smith, white or adams in the us). occasionally u get surnames like ouyang, shangguan, sima, situ that are 2 characters n han surnames but the majority of the compound surnames w 2-3 syllables are not Han like for example Dilraba Dilmurat (ughyur) or SIqin Gaowa (half mongolian). also its someones hard to tell cuz a person could be like manchurian n have a han last name but i would assume they got it from their paternal side

i saw her in the lotus lantern when I was a still kid and thought she was the prettiest little kid ever and so good at portraying nezha especially the suicide and everything, so glad she decided to pursue acting

it'll probably be finished on dec 13th bcuz its thurs, fri and sat, so 6 episodes a week starting from oct 18 and 50 ep is about 8 weeks
