a decent first ep for a kdrama, though i wished they would stick to the webtoon storyline a bit more. its too early to say something but there have been some changes and i think storyline might change more ...
i'll vent a bit..... i can understand why people including me are unsatisfied with the ending....because each week we wondered and made theories about minchae's father, and if it wasnt yijin, we had made good explanations why it wasnt him. the drama seemed to be keeping that mystery above many things and made us look forward to the answer with every episode too. but when you think about it, its not what actually mattered... what mattered was their youth and part of their lives that we got to see. i knew it would have a sad ending because it seemed to go that way and the song 2521's lyrics of course would line well with the sad ending. still, it feels unfinished and a bit rushed why baekdo did that. if they only could tell each other what they exactly feel... both were in an exhausted state, i guess that's why they didnt try to keep it. but still they cared about each other the most and it hurts......i would be okay with even them staying as just friends. but them not meeting up, not having a conversation for so many years just doesnt seem right with me... because i didnt like their relationship just for the romance, before lovers they were truly good friends who promised to be happy whenever they were together... its just so sad that their support couldnt reach each other after everything they went through together. like they said, there werent anyone who was at fault, we cant blame anyone. if we were to blame anyone, i'd say it's the times that stole their happiness. i really wish we had a scene of grown up yijin and heedo talking to each other, not on tv but alone. i'd do anything to see such a scene...
