I thought that he was just reading their faces. I think that the memory loss was a good opportunity for Soo Ha to show some more depth as a character. Its like looking at whats underneath the tough "I will protect you" exterior. I don't think that I'd call Jan di spineless. Her strength when facing everything was a bit admirable. The only thing was that she had a ton of problems dealing with was her feelings for Jun pyo and properly expressing them. I think that's kinda normal for a first relationship (a first for both the guy and girl), to a certain degree.

I think I like the Tai Qing/Hiro Wang character better than in the previous dramas. Jang Geun Suk's version was a little too awkward for me. As for the story line, they really only made minor changes to the You're beautiful script so far, but there is time for them to mix things up a bit. Adding in a twist only takes a moment. The Taiwanese version of "without words" I did really like.
