I don't get why all of the comments are so negative... Maybe because I watched it all in one go? Anyway, I thought it was a nice drama to spend the afternoon. There's not much depth in the FL character but the ML got me hooked in, some people might think he's just an a-hole but if you reflect on his past I can understand why he's this way now.
I know, somehow nothing makes sense in this drama. Wasn’t Jung Woo in debt at first? Apparently before he met…
Exactly! And why make such a mess when she could have easily fired Do Gun and put Jung Woo in his place. Isn't she the owner of the place? She had the right to fire his employee if she wanted someone new so bad LOL
I can't believe I ended feeling more confused about the plot than when I started watching it LOL. Was it ever explained how Laura and Jung Woo met? And what was that last conversation between Laura and Do Gun??? Did I miss an episode...?
That was really poor. There wasn't really a plot, and what there was made no sense. Jang Eui Soo is beautiful,…
Agree! There are many examples of short dramas with good plots (Strongberry's productions come to my mind). It's not that the episodes were short, it was that half of it was filled with Jang Euisoo's fanservice...
I don't know if it's because the episodes are so short or if it's because I watched it while airing, but I felt like the plot was a bit empty. I think this will work better in the movie version, without the cuts, but overall I don't regret watching it. The main actors did it really well despite being their 1st acting experience and you could see the chemistry between them.
Please mark this comment as spoiler, there's a lot of information about the plot there
because your comment was not showing as a spoiler to me, that's why. if it was already marked I wouldn't say a thing, I'm not stupid lol. Edit: I'll try to send you an screenshot through DMs, but your comment was duplicated, one was marked and one wasn't.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the drama but I need to vent my frustrations...
C'mon girl, do you have a personality at all??? Even marrying him with the dress and hairstyle HE chose, can't you just voice your opinion about something for once in your life?? The only time I saw FL standing for herself was when the mother-in-law tried to buy her things...
Which leads me onto my second complaint, why wasn't the other sister in that family reunion? Is it because she's fat or what LOL because most of her screentime is her eating, is that the whole character?? Screenwriters must think fat people's personality=binge eating.
I almost dropped it when the plot started going into the cheating part, but since everyone here said there was a plot twist in the end I just skipped over the middle part. I always thought she was sketchy, but I'm glad that they didn't make (chubby) Jang Hyuk such a horrible man...
For the people still wondering who's endgame, 2 of the actors and A.C.E's leader Jun had an interview with Teen Vogue (https://twitter.com/TeenVogue/status/1422642184365486096). I loved how Jun said he wishes this drama could break down prejudices
Since everyone is talking about Taekyung's bracelet (thanks to the people who noticed) I couldn't help myself and watched previous episodes to see if he had it before. I'll be putting time stamps in brackets.
Episode 1: Maybe it's not that relevant, but he keeps wearing the bracelet on the beach scene (0:02). Personally, this tells me it's something important to him. He's also seems to be wearing it on the first scene in high school (3:12).
Episode 10: In the flashback scene with the middle school friends on the study hall, he doesn't have any bracelets (00:41) in his right wrist.
So, in conclusion, Taekyung *must* have gotten the bracelet some time between Shinwoo's first time meeting him and him starting his 2nd (?) year at high school.
