Watching Black Knight I kept wondering where I know him from and then seeing it's from Light On Me blew my mind! So good for him, hope he keeps getting big budget roles, he's very talented!
This took me too long to finish because I just wasn't invested in the main couple's story, but the side couple? Would watch a million more episodes just of them! All in all, good OST, adult characters (please no more high schoolers!) and amazing side couple, recommended.
Can someone who understood it better/read the manhwa tell me is "2 years later" in the last episode is 2 years after they meet again after 2 years aka 4 years after high school? Thanks
If it wasn't for the unconsenting kiss after all the talk of explicit consent to touch and the drunk kissing scene, which can be excused to a point, I suppose, this would've been perfect for me. So sad these two instances dampened the overall impression I got from this show, which is that it's really good. I loveddd the casting, especially for Yuna and despite the aforementioned scenes, I think it's still worth a watch for the cast and attention to detail they (mostly) followed. Anyways... I am kind of sad I am finished with this..... What to do with my life now?
Yeeeeees. The ML was the classic douche until ep.5 when his scenes were hilarious. But overall he acts as if she's…
I see what you mean about the bubble and I agree that it could very well be that, so I can't really fault him for it. I do wish we'll see a positive character development in the later episodes.
Episode six is just one really, REALLY big mess. If it wasn't for Hyuk and Dojin carrying the whole show on their back I never would've kept watching after the scene where Ryok shows up out of nowhere, interrupts the conversation Yujin and Maha were having and Maha still leaves with him??? The same Maha who enjoyed her friend remembering he's known her longer than his group mates and accepted that it made sense he chose to take her and her friends out instead. So when he comes and has something to celebrate she ditches him for the person she blocked!!! To then demand to be let out on her way home? She could've just went celebrating with Yujin who could've then taken her home with his perfectly working car. More illogically, Ryok is only offering her a ride home, not to hang out or go on a date or whatever so what was the point of leaving with him? What even was his idea? To be an a**hole and win a girl over like that? Seems to be working because they're both dumb af. There was so many really bad scenes in this episode (what the hell was the scene with Larima?! Comedy gold and it wasn't even intended) but that one just made me mad. Loyalty to friends comes first, kids.
I also am going to say something very controversial, I think – the ML is really unlikable. It is most probably the character that demanded he has nothing but a resting b*tch face for four episodes straight, so maybe it's not on him, just the terrible directing and the script, but it made me not enjoy his scenes, nonetheless. He gets better in the episodes five and six because he gets to show /some/ range to his facial expressions, but his character still stays just... bleh. While I think the FL is miscasted, I grew to like the actress who does the best she can with her role. I do implore somebody to save her from the worst hair extensions I've ever seen, though.
I have a question... If I recall correctly... Ji Hak was also the CEO/part of the Omega company that was supposed to debut Omega 3, right? I'm confused how the girls don't know that? Or am I getting that completely wrong?
