Come on, I'm a sucker for romance and love good romantic plot within all genres but this is the first drama where I hope there won't be any of it. I just caught a glimpse of it with the princess.... But all I want is a good plot to continue and to cry and laugh my as* out while enjoying it. Am I asking too much?
I agree. or at least they could make one of the guys kinda of poor like her. I hate this cliche of poor woman/rich…
I wouldn't say DO is that rich. He is just famous. I mean he has money but not even close to the rest of the men. You can see it from the way he lives and where he lives. It's not fancy like RJ's or PD's.... And YW is hell rich from the context. I just don't get rich vibes from him and I like it.
OK... You're my new bestie XDI feel the same... And like we're the only ones thinking this way.... I thought I…
Yeah... I got bashed a few weeks ago for telling my opinion about him.... So i was careful as I saw many are for him.... But I read some comments and the sides have turned. :D
Ok. Ryujin and Yeonwoo can hold hands and jump off the cliff together. Two annoying brats. If Yeonwoo doesn't know…
OK... You're my new bestie XD I feel the same... And like we're the only ones thinking this way.... I thought I was alone in this. Thanks for letting me know there are others too. :)
I don't know if I'm too invested in the mysteries this drama holds, but what, what if PD's wife is AJ twin sister? I mean, they never talked about her dad... Maybe he and his wife divorced and each took one daughter.... And maybe he was in a gang or in debts bcs of gambling. And that's how PD's wife got to know him.... Dunno, it's just that for them to be so similar looking (as JH portrays both of them) that even other gangsters see it... And the old man in preview is kind of suspicious. :D
Unpopular opinion. Personally at this point, this is how I feel the show should proceed for me to consider it…
I mean, it's cool.... But I like dramas for the fact that they are unrealistic and kind of escape zone for us. So I really would like her to end wit DO but wouldn't mind any other ending lol :) But I like how you thought of this plot - the only thing I really wouldn't want is for her to end up with YW. I just kind of don't like him. But as I sad, however it ends up I'm OK with it.
Wow, thank you. I'll def watch it. I tottaly agree with you. And I was really reluctant to watch this drama. So I watched it bcs od SJH, SIG and some support actors that I like - tbh I skipped through all eps bcs I was soooooo interested in what happens next - and then started watching it all slowly and at peace knowing what's going on. This is my first drama of this genre and this long. I mean I watched some historic ones but not this historical. It was like time traveling dramas. But I like it and I like the fact that it's real, its what happened. And we get to be in their shoes for a bit. I sometimes blamed Jumong for not being tougher at times and for being easily influenced at times. And for not really searching for his wife and son. But then again, I understand why that happened and what he had to go through. And how miserable and "weak" he must have felt all those years. It just has different effect when it's not fictional. Oh, and I started Jang Young Shil bcs od SIG. Damn, man can act and he has such powerful presence . Don't let me started about his charm. :D
I mean I know it's real but I think that some facts were made in different way than it actually happened. But then again I don't know for sure as I haven't been able to read about Jumong a lot in English. I just can't understand how he could have loved two women at the same time. For me it was always and always will have been one man and one woman. Its just that I felt his love with YS, how he fell in love with her... And you could have literally feel his love in those scenes. When she was in question he never followed his head but his heart - like when he heard she was alive and was ready to accept his brother YP's crazy request or when he frantically searched for her in the crowd (his eyes), not to mention the cave. His emotions with her near were all over the place...it was stronger than any thinking. He never cared about his safety or anything else when it was about her. As for SN it just stopped or let say slowly disappeared after her 1st marriage. And it never was felt - by me (except for the poster :D). It's just like it was a dream - like our dream with famous ones (lets be honest - we all felt that way at least once). I think that YS was after all his true love. And that he dedicated his heart to one woman as his father taught him. And lets be honest again, they were in their 20s and were married for 15 years but didn't have children. Its as if she was his buddy...not a woman. I kind of felt some emotions from him in the last ep towards SN (but I try to deny it XD). And all this is based on character - not the actresses that portrayed them. I feel that if I was in his place I would have chosen YS a thousand times over SN. I don't say one is bad and one good. It's just that YS sacrificed her happiness a lot for him and who can say that is not true love - and I don't think just about part where she left him... But even before that. She was always sacrificing herself and I think that helpd him see what a big human she was... Kind, loving, caring, supportive.... How not to fall in love with someone like that and even more how to forget someone like that. Sorry for the long and messy post... But it seems his emotions are not the only ones all over the place. :D It's just i have so many questions and no answers.
This my fried is a comment worth gold.... I laughed so hard... But maybe we react that way bcs we don't see it as a history (since many of us are not familiar with that - and honestly I don't think anyone from other parts of the world would know a thing about wars from country I'm from if it was - hypothetically-made into a drama) but just drama. And seriously people don't like the plot.... I hated half of the characters and half of the plot and was just like with any other drama - talking to characters. Esp Jumong.... I would call him a stupid or a fool a lot. I really liked his mom and 1st wife (but I came biased to this show as I like Ji Hyo and previously watched them in Crime Squad together). But I gotta stress it again - I really love your comment :D
This was my first drama. I barely slept for 3 days during my marathon watching on this drama, yet it's really…
Drama is 81 ep which means you needed around 90hrs (as some eps are longer than 1hr)...And you need almost 4 days - without time for eating or sleeping or anything else... Admit it - you skipped like I did :D ;)
I just don't get rich vibes from him and I like it.
But thank you for your kind words. :)
I feel the same... And like we're the only ones thinking this way....
