finally able to watched after all episodes were out. bad reviews didnt stopped me from finishing this in 2 days…
I don't think the fantasy part of the drama was a reason for bad reviews. The plot itself was ridiculous and frustrating. I think all the different genres wasn't mixed well together. But of course everyone has different opinion.
I didn't like Healer either. in that genre I prefer City Hunter. maybe I was biased about healer, because I don't like the main guy since Warrior Baek Dong Soo
Ok, I just finished and I'm not gonna say anything nice so excuse me.
I remember reading manga few years ago and probably liked it a lot because I was really excited to watch the live action. But OMG and not in a good way it was cringey all along. Yes, there were a few really cute, sweet, and funny moments but other than that the woman inside me was dying for the whole time.
First of all, if it were me the monk would be in a jail or something for stalking and forcibly locking person in the room. My family would get a big fight and total no for trying to marry me off without my consent. That old hag would get a "nice" words from me (because I'm against of physical abuse against elders or one bitch slap would have been just perfect). I know this is based on manga and everything but Japan please stop making women just their husband supporters who shouldn't have their own life (at least she still went to New York, thanks god but they seemed perfectly fine when she decided to quit her job). And I know you're making things cute and innocent but as much as I remember manga wasn't this innocent and first kiss on engagement on christmas in Buddist temple? How moe cliché and old fashioned can it get. Even Korea realised that a few kisses ae OK and there's no need forso many interruptions when they're about to do so. Because it ws based on manga you can't change storyline but there's two options: 1. Make it believable and 2. Don't make it at all.
Sorry guys I vented out all my anger ㅜㅜ
i watched the taiwanese one before. it was good but little bit stretched and yaeh, the character were sometimes annoying but overall it was pretty good drama :3 i'll try korean version too, of course ^^
ISWAK the best adaptation of itazura na kiss.. i've watched every version of this manga but ISWAK was the best, really and there was more skinship that i looooved :D
