Eps 4 to 9 are great fun. FL is bad@ss (her martial arts/taekwondo skills IRL, fits the role so so well). Supporting cast are great too, esp Lee Joo Bin, Action noir director and stunt coordinator's comedic chops. Dislike the 2nd romance pairing, prefer the sisterhood and the superb bromance!
I found ML so endearingly awkward (and blunt), his mellow acting style complements the other main characters. FL is smart and literally strong, pushes limits (with the audience as well), and her struggles with breaking social norms are apparent from ep 1 thru to the end, (the couple's convo about marriage and kids).
The drama and characters are not perfect for sure, but I appreciate the imperfection. Relatively great pacing, no draggy tropes, some scenes and lines are refreshing, even though the cliches are there too. I enjoyed the action noir scenes (the HK oldies movie theme song was brilliant to me but the reference will be lost for non-Cantonese speaking parts of the world which is a huge majority..).

I had the same question as you and from the YouTube video, it's explained that in the webtoon, she's an NIS agent partnered with the security guard. Her power is that she doesn't age, so she's been around really long. She's skilled at reading people and devised the scheme to uncover Hee Soo's power.. As for evil or not, I'm not absolutely sure.... please have season 2🤞 😂

Mi Hyun is finally on a mission she cannot and will not intentionally fail. Love her characterization - resilient, strong, sharp, intelligent, compassionate, unwavering, protective, etc.
