I like to finish what I start so for this reason, dropping dramas has always come very hard to me. Recently, though, I've gotten better at filtering what I want and what I absolutely do not feel like wasting my time on, and honestly, it just feels so, SO good watching things purely out of genuine enjoyment and not those you feel like you're being forced to watch. Also, something I've started doing to save me some time when I'm not sure whether or not I should continue a drama is putting the player to 2x playback speed - you're still seeing everything that's going on so it's not 'cheating' even if you stick with it until the end, and you can figure out if the drama is worth it or not more quickly. Saves me quite a bit of time, actually!
This man is pretty much the epitome of main lead material. He’s just too good. So brilliant in Hwarang and Stranger, although it wasn’t until Life that he completely managed to win me over. He’s just exceptional! Prison Playbook is next on my list!
10/10. Easily one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched. Honestly, I believed in this drama since before it even came out and for a good reason — it’s just so good. Too good. Lee Soo Yeon has outdone herself once again. The cast, the characters, the OST, the cinematography, the acting, the story itself — everything about this drama is superb. Particularly the story, which could have very easily become boring and dragged out, was written so well and given such depth and realness that you just can’t help but feel for these characters who are all perfect in their imperfections. Just like all of us are. Nothing in life is ever black or white, and this drama captures that quite flawlessly.
I've said it before and I'll say it again -- this drama is magnificent. Absolutely magnificent. Everything, and I mean everything about it is so well done that I keep being blown away every. single. time. 20 episodes in and this drama is still just as thrilling and captivating as it was at the very beginning -- something that's very rarely seen in dramaland, as most shows tend to fizzle out and lose their spark at one point or another.
Everything about it is magnificent.

Also, that cameo... *hyperventilates*
Not Mr. Sunshine.
I can't believe there's only two episodes left :(
