In my opinion, this is better than Strong Woman Do Bong Soon Anyone agree with me? Both are good though lol
100%. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon was good in terms of the main couple but failed in making the other parts of the story imo. this one is good and well rounded, although i kinda wish there was less time of her obsessing over the brother
I really agree with everything in this review, but I think it deserves a little higher rating, maybe a 7. But I agree, a good drama with good characters, but a little boring.
This should not have such a low rating, its so good and maybe a little confusing but overall a very fun and interesting story line, with a good cast. And after watching it for a second time, I can see all of the details I missed the first time and the story connects so much better. Definitely worth the watch!
You do know that NDS only wanted SDM as CEO because he liked her right? So your blaming HJP for the same thing…
listen, I agree that dosan isn't perfect, in-fact, he has many flaws. I would not call myself an NDS fan, however, I just do not like dalmi with jipyeong. They don't match and I'd say, to your point about the power dynamic, that although Dosan has the majority shares, he actually has less control in their relationship just based on personality (as you said youreself, he's "mentally weak" which i disagree with but either way), which negates the power dynamic that would have existed. If Jipyeong had those majority shares it would've been different. Also I'm a little confused about what you mean by him being toxic, is it because of him getting angry @ JP or him lying to dalmi, because JP also lied to dalmi, and I'd say what he did was worse, because he started the entire situation and was the one who wanted to continue it way past when dosan wanted to stop. To your point about actions defining you and not your way of thinking, I'd say its a combination of both, bevasue of course actions "speak louder than words" as the saying goes, but your intentions are quite important as well. One last thing, crying is definitely a healthy way to express your emotions.. blaming other people, sure you shouldn't do that, but there's nothing wrong with crying and its usually involuntary anyway.
Damn, people really hate NDS on here. The main reason I prefer hims w SDM is because of their chemistry and relationship.…
also, i'm getting really annoyed with the plot holes... there are so many but the main one for me is how she never talked to her grandma about the letters, and she kinda just forgave everyone pretty quickly. why did they build it up so much just to make it not that big of a deal
Damn, people really hate NDS on here. The main reason I prefer hims w SDM is because of their chemistry and relationship. She is happy when she's with him, and they are at similar stages of their lives, so they can figure things out together and mess up and be young adults, while HJP is already successful and has already grown past that phase of his life. Although I love him and the grandma, him and SDM together don't sit right with me. They don't have much chemistry and it feels like he only like SDM out of obligation from the letters. I also feel a weird power dynamic between the two of them, especially considering he was only ever helping their company because he liked her. People are also saying NDS is a weak character, but I'd argue he is just someone who doesn't care much about achieving success, which is definitely seen as lazy and weak in today's standards. However, he is a passionate character, but just values relationships and friendship and happiness, over what is generally considered success, whether that be financial or within his career, which explains why he cares so much about him and SDM. We can see in his backstory that he never had many close friends, or people who really liked him for his personality. THIS is what his dream is. To have someone who supports him and appreciates him and who he can achieve things with and be happy with. And he believed that SDM was that for him, which is why she is his dream. [ Also, what's wrong with crying, why do y'all care if people express their emotions that way. Yes, sometimes [actually quite a lot lmao] people cry way too much in dramas and it really irritates me, but I haven't found that to be true in this drama. And these types comments are part of the reason why men feel so bad about expressing their emotions.]
finally someone else who doesn't like the show. Its not that its bad but more like its boring... They stretched it out way too much and I never felt any real connection to the characters like everyone else did. Tbh, all of the family scenes/the scenes with just the parents were so boring and I almost always skipped through them towards the end.
i am TIRED of this drama. how is it episode 15 and its this boring... once again, they are stretching out a story for 16 episodes when they never had enough content to reach 16
ok im sorry... but how did it take 14 episodes for the main leads to get together. It is a ROM-com! the romance takes 14 episodes to finally start?? this is wack. also why are they making yeon joo such a horrible person. it is so unnecessary and honestly doesn't match her character at all!
