It's like I'm watching *The Impossible Heir* in an alternate universe, where everything's flipped and the story's got a feminine twist. First episode feels like that, but with a whole new vibe!
This family drama is already a mess. 😂😅The story’s got potential, but some parts really don’t land well......especially the father-child stuff. Like, the reaction to seeing a supposedly dead dad after 11 years?🤷🤷🤷 It feels off, almost like the actors don’t even know how they should react. And then there’s the son, who barely knows his dad but suddenly has this great bond with him? You will like ur hating this father-son duo .It’s still early, but right now, I’d give it a 6.5 -7.0 ⭐ out of 10.
Oh man 😅 But what really captivated me was the romance between Rao and Zhao. Their relationship, where enemies gradually become lovers, is the sweetest part of the show.
I absolutely adore how their small fights lead to moments of caring for each other.
Rao and Zhao's romance outshines even that of the main leads.
1. The love story progressed way too fast. There were no sparks between the couple, and suddenly, they were confessing their love.
2. The unnecessary kissing scenes felt forced and out of place. Their kisses seemed sterile and flat. I get that couples kiss, but before they even confessed, he kissed her multiple times, and her reactions were bafflingly neutral—no shock, embarrassment , anger, or any discernible emotion.
3. I understand that people like the leads, and that's fair. However, the female lead overacted so much that it felt unnatural. She didn't come across as a real person but as someone acting. and I'd rather not even get started on the male lead's acting...( btw I loved her acting in Happiness and Moving but rom-com is not for her )
4. The constant time travel was unnecessary. The show started strong with the cartoon world concept, but the story felt like it was stuck in a loop and never progressed. Also, the secondary characters or supported characters were severely underused....
5. The first half was good, but the second half dragged on.
Maybe I'm spoiled by watching some great Japanese dramas and movies, but this kdrama was just too cringeworthy for me at times.....
he deserves it. he was the who destroys their relationship..
Certainly, here's a revised version:
"A father's role extends beyond mere biological contribution; he is obligated to fulfill his duties as a parent. Where was he during her pregnancy? Why did he not make efforts to locate her? Four years is indeed a significant duration. MiSo has been solely responsible for herself and her child during this time. The child is now at least three to four years old, with MiSo being the sole parent. Are you suggesting he knew he was the father, and therefore MiSo should surrender the child to him? That's preposterous. She has cared for her child alone for four years. The Child belongs to her and her only. BTW I really recommend u a movie MIMI 2021 . A must watch please watch it and I'm sure you have a change of heart. it is really good movie .please tell me after watching this what u think after that about the child ..
A must watch 💯👍👍👍
It’s truly sweet and cozy.
