I dont understand the hate that this drama got. It is actually pretty good. I am actually surprised that I like it really much. I like when two broken people meet and help each other while healing and discover themselves and the story doesnt need deep thinking or too complicated.

I thought they just broke up before the drama started because her mother just started distributing the wedding invitations and she said the wedding was only 1 month away?

People said You Are My Lover Friend is better. But I drop it so fast. Surprisingly I prefer Love Next Door. Probably because it has makjang element which I like because I love crazy family dynamic in my romcom. And I prefer bickering friends who turn lover because It is more fun.

I like the lead couple. Their relationship is fine with me. But it bothers me a little bit that she start a new relationship so fast when she just broke up from a long term relationship with a good supportive guy while supposedly suffering a long depression. Well it is a drama I cant expect it to be logical right lol.

And I want to pinpoint how much I like the closed friendship btwn CSH and JME. They have great chemistry but I dont really ship them together. Their friendship feels so comforting to watch. Somehow I feel like they have deeper understanding towards each other. And why is he looking so much better when he is with her than when he is with the FL lol. I hope to see this kind of platonic friendship as the main part of another drama

I watched 2 his lead dramas with romance. 365 days and A peom a day. You dont have to worry about his acting. And he always have good chemistry with his costar. Not the hot type. But the warm and fuzzy type which I think suit a matured drama like this. And these days I prefer that kind of drama

Another one word to describe this whole drama. FRUSTATING. Everyone is making their own assumption, doubt everyone else and not communicating.

Does it have a happy ending?

I prefer both. But we deserve more drama about married couple that do not involve cheating. It is so refreshing to watch the coupld trying to rebuild love in their marriage. And the ANGST!!!

I am watching ep 7. I think that episode came too early. It should come a little bit later after leads are closer. FL said she care about him isnt convincing enough for me because he was threatening her most of the time

At least LBFAD gave us a few seconds of happy reunion. Just hope she wont get addicted to OP or BE because she writes good drama

For this kind of drama, it is hard to feel satisfied with the ending. Thats why I hesitated to start this drama

Did it take long for him to discover her identity as female and general?

Up to where I read, the story just keeps trying to show how strong she's so many times. So it's kinda annoyed me especially when the plot barely moves and she sounds so pompous after a few times. So I decided to drop it and just wait for the drama lol

Playing this kind of character is Esther speciality. I would never get bored or annoyed

But in The Story of Pearl Girl novel, I heard the FL didnt even end up with the 1st ML

That is probably better with the lackluster we got
