I felt like it was character development for the male lead . He stated he had a hard time expressing his emotions even as a child so even though his confession was bogus , he never did that for no other woman but Bora and even though I’m happy that Bora developed into a women who didn’t need to have a man define her , she still yearned for his love and she understood how hard it was for him to express his feelings but she felt special because he did that for her .
I really loved this drama ! I started watching it because of Wu Jin Yan but Yin Tao is the reason why I kept watching it . I’m definitely fan of her now . Really great drama !
Wow , I’m still mind blowned that this is the same guy in Court lady ( the mean evil Uncle ) and Story of Xingfu ( Xingfu docile don’t stand up for himself husband ) !!!
I hope you kept going , I loved the drama but what kept me watching it was Gu Jia character and story .
oh ok . yes, Gu jai husband cheats on her with the girl from Disney world, but the mistress ends up being crazy( like she was stalking Gu jai , giving stuff to her child , it was really creepy , and when the guy wanted to break up with her, she would go beserk on him, serves him right ! ) Gu jai had to clean up her husband extramarital affair . she does ask for a divorce but then the volatile “blue fireworks “ that Gu jai tells her husband to stop using at his company due to safety reason months before , but the mistress told him to keep using it in his company , ends up blowing up the factory and workers were injured and some died . Therefore the husband went to jail , at first Gu jai was going wait for him because she still love him and they had a child but the husband signed the divorce papers and told her to go live a better life . Luckily, she invested in a tea farm that was separate from her husband business so I wouldn’t say she retired to the mountains, but she had a source of income for her and her son . The girl who divorced her husband did start dating the younger co worker from her job but she got tired of him and his immaturity, her and her husband got back together , the last girl started dating a rich man but realize he wasn’t shit and wasn’t looking for anything long term . she started working on her career and that was the end of her story .

I can suggest some historicals if you like ? I am a big Korean dramas fan as well, but the chinese historicals story lines are way better , so lately I have been only watching chinese historicals.

Omggggg Omgg, I was just about to respond with your comment. I’m over here flabbergasted because I swore that I would hate her and the husband , on any show they played in because of what they did to my girl in Nothing but thirty. I finished LLTG a month ago and Qiqi was one of my favorite characters ! I was looking on MDL to see what dramas she played it , never imagine that she was the crazy whore from nothing but thirty , that I depised to the utmost degree!! Definitely a great actress !
I agree ! I watched this drama because I enjoyed him in Romamce of tiger and Rose. But , I was missing Han shou. But , I did like how his reserved self broke down slowly but quickly when Sunbei teased him lol . His little Pervy smiles and passionate kisses was nice
