gave full focus on this series, not just because of the sub, but also the plot is so futuristic - mixing advancement in science, of politics and ambition for world domination. and the ending, we are left asking where are Ms. Yun and Captain Woo? This needs a SECOND SEASON to answer our questions - what will become of BF, of Yun and Woo?
Why do we fall for Seok Ju? I think we see a mature man who is sensitive and sensible. He may have issues with his mom, but he handled it with grace. And he is considerate with Tae Rin though at first, she is really annoying. As for the main leads' characters.... they have past issues that they need to overcome in the present, but am not loving them.
I like the younger version of the two Ji Wons as their acting has more depth. This is because the first love and heartaches were very much felt in them. These two young actors should get more drama roles. As for the adult versions, why were they portrayed as if they went back to 18 again? I don't know if it is the choice of actors or the story itself that is faulty. If not for their father and grandfather, the story will fall flat.
I am at episode 7 and so far for me, there are many life lessons to learn. it may seem boring at the start, but as the story unfolds, we find someone who inspires the young men to love the sport and be a team despite of all the challenges they were facing. Will wait for the rest of the episodes in Netflix and see how this will end.
Sometimes we need this kind of series that is light-hearted and comedic. Though there may be intrigues or challenges, the characters showed much maturity in handling them. The first and 2nd FL are simply hilarious, and you would really believe that they are true friends. The other supporting actors are likely funny, yet you can see their sincerity and friendship.
I watched this because of Park Bo-young. Her acting is so good, you can really see how bubbly her character is and how she got affected along the way. Though I may not be one who understands how depression kicks in, the movie helped me learn how to empathize with those who may be caring for people with depression.
just finished this series with mixed emotions. the genre should have been labeled also as fantasy, with the interaction of the device with humans. I do not know how I will rate this, just watched it because of Hae In.
just discovered Jun Hyuk, very charming in this drama and many ladies would surely be attracted for such a 'perfect' guy, not just as secretary, able to balance work and home, always well-dressed and composed. no wonder Ji Min's character get pulled towards him. I am glad it has a happy ending despite of the politics around them.
Shin Hye Sun is just great in this series - to act like a man, and all the antics she brings in, together with Jung Hyun, they are such a comedic couple. I love the energy and the continuous banter along with the queen's maids and the cook. Somehow, though there had been so much politics and violence, it was not difficult to take in, as it gives us so much light and funny moments. for sure to watch this again.
The whole movie is like reading poetry, though there are some parts that are not. Towards the middle of the series, I was contemplating of not finishing it for the stories of Haewon, her mom, her aunt and of Eun Seob seem to be bleak and dark. But I am glad I made it to through the 3 final episodes which gave me a glimmer of hope of love and happiness. This movie touches the soul, a need of every man - to choose to be happy even in the simplest of things, just like Jangwoo.
