this is so good, this will be the first jdrama i finish
makes me want to dive into the world of jdramas now
would love any recommendations!

I was loosely referring to the Ghibli vibe as a whole. The poster with the fl's braided hair reminds me of From Up On Poppy Hill. But other than that, the themes of generational connections, going back and forth past and present, a sense of nostalgia, exploration of nature, romanticization of little things in life—these are just some of the things I noticed in this movie that you can find in several Ghibli films.

after seeing na in woo in all those historical dramas as the bad guy, it's so much fun to finally see him as the ml, and a kind/good guy type at that. i always knew he'd be awesome as the ml, and i was not wrong. the fl is also beautiful and adorable. have high hopes for this show ♡
