so basically heedo wins the gold medal, but there was a controversy that made heedo lost her gold medal. im not sure how to explain it but when their points was at 14-14, at the last minute their swords touched each other at the same time and there was no video evidence showing who touched whose sword first.. and now the whole nation is hating heedo because they think heedo stole yurim's gold medal, and also because yurim stated that she clearly saw her sword touching heedo's sword first (which might be a lie), yurim even fake cried lmaoo i hate her so much. so as of now everyone thinks that yurim is a victim and heedo doesnt deserve her gold medal (this is also because everyone favors yurim more than heedo because she has won an olympic gold medal before) and then theres heedo who is less famous than yurim and is just a newcomer in competitions

theres no official english translation as of now, but if you were using google translate to read that part, as a native korean i can safely say that line is mistranslated. the line was "[고유림을] 동경했었던 적 있었다." which translates to "there was a time when i adored go yu rim" and that part didnt say anything about the 'late' go yurim. what im trying to say is that you shouldnt trust google translate that much because it can be inaccurate sometimes.. sorry for my bad english btw,,
