yeah, the thing that got me first was the font, and then the concept of a word pattern for a set of series is something I've seen in some Mexican novelas. usually they share some of the crew and they share production styles / vibes, may have crossover characters or settings, and actually tend to use some of the same actors (something I forgot haha). the best example is probably the "vencer.." series, I think it had five novelas? so I thought wow, Korean dramas are doing this too? but nope, at least not here

I almost thought When the Stars Gossip was related to this drama cause the names start the same (in English), the fonts look very similar (both in English and Korean titles) and it started on WTPRs final week. there doesn't seem to be a connection outside of Netflix though (I also didn't dig very deep)

I had watched him in the movie unlocked and the drama run on, and his characters werent convincing to me. I can see what you mean with PGY, but I saw it more as her character just being absolutely done with everything. I really liked the scene where she got attacked though, she looked terrified

honestly I thought this held up. each episode got better and better. and if we compare, its nothing like the trash of sweet home and gyeongseong creatures sequels. I'm also super excited to see how Park Gyu Young's character plays into S3! and Yim Si Wan actually did a good job, Id seen him a couple times before and didn't care for his acting so I'm glad to see him do well here!

my favorite part of this was definitely the beginning, I feel like my attachment to the MCs diminished so much by the end, I felt completely unaffected by what should've been heartbreaking scenes all throughout the show. loved Chloe Xie's character though! she helped me get through

I just finished ep3 and so far I agree! after sweet home 2/3 and gyeongseong creature 2, I had really low expectations for this one. ep1 started a bit slow but the way the story is going is great! the first game was familiar but still different and I loved seeing Park Gyu Young getting screentime! I was afraid we'd only see her for a few minutes the whole show

I just finished that one!! I really loved it! now I'm focusing more on Story of Pearl Girl

I'll admit, I was one of the people who watched it while it aired and didn't like it 😅 I found the characters too confusing in a way that sometimes made the plot confusing

right now it's set to resume a normal schedule next week. they had initially changed the schedule for the next two weeks to accommodate for a special documentary but then last minute had to cancel this week so I think they decided to remove the other changes.

this is based on the schedule Netflix has, I assume they're up to date with the broadcast schedule

same, she's my number one reason for taking a chance on S2. I kept looking for her in the trailers and now Netflix released a thing about new cast members and she wasn't there. I was starting to think she was removed from the cast, but hopefully it's a bigger role than they're letting on and she continues to S3!!

I think it's pretty split actually, a lot of people just wanted an explanation for why JoJo dumped Sunho, not for them to get back together. In fact, when I watched it, I thought he deserved better after JoJo left him hanging like that and didn't want them together, the other girl was a lot nicer, but that doesn't mean the closure wasn't necessary

I do agree about the chemistry being there but I didn't like how their relationship started, or the idea that "people from different worlds don't mix". my thing was I see her frustrated and angry with the ml and smiling with the sml, though I know on her end it's not romantic at all. I'm sure I'll change my mind, I haven't been able to go past ep 15, the website I use has stopped uploading eps 😭

I like the ml, he's chill but I still want her with the sml. I'm only on ep15 so maybe this will change (I hope)

glad I came to check people's thoughts, I just finished ep8 and am already having trouble staying focused but since it started off good, I assumed it would get better. guess I'll drop it here
