But this makes it hard to beat previous records because earlier shows used to be in top 10 for 15-20 weeks now it's just 9-11 weeks.

the criteria is same for every show be it KDrama or english series but earlier ( before June 2023 ) the ranking of top 10 spot was on the basis of viewing hours which was helping weekly shows to be on top 10 for more weeks ( example EAW for 21 weeks ) and now top 10 ranking is on basis of views ( total viewing hours divided by run time ) so with this criteria it's very hard to maintain top 10, now a show with less run time and less viewing hours can have more views than a show with more run time and more viewing hours.

Currently it's aiming for all time second spot for a Weekly KDrama after extraordinary attorney Woo, QOT has more viewing hours than eaw in its seventh week. QOT - 75.3M EAW - 69.4M, QOT is doing better than recent global hits like MD & KTL.

QoT was number 1 on Netflix top 10 in 19 counties on 21st April. 🔥

UPDATE - Queen Of Tears ranks 3rd on Netflix’s Global Top Ten (Non-English Series) with 4.8 million views & 75.3 million viewing hours in its seventh week.

It has accumulated 287.6 million viewing hours in seven weeks.
