Dilraba slayed ???
After Coroners Diary, this was the second Chinese drama this year that I watched while it was airing. I started most dramas this year but dropped them after the first episodes—they just didn’t make me want to continue. But this one really tempted me to keep watching. The moment it truly became one of my favorites—when I told myself “I really like this”—was episodes 5 and 6, and by episodes 9 and 10 I was completely in love with it.
I don’t agree with people who say its pacing was slow. Sure, some parts moved calmly, but it had a beautiful sense of tranquility, and within that calm, it gave you good information about the plot—like the quiet conversations between Xing Shen and Mahanzi.
My favorite episodes were 28 and 29. They were all amazing and turned out so well. Usually, the final battle in dramas feel repetitive to me, but this one was exciting—especially when a third enemy suddenly appeared and made everything even more interesting.
The ending can be seen as open, meaning there are still Di Xiao wandering on earth, and this story will never truly end.
I just hope Jiuluo and Yantu can live peacefully for a long time.
The acting was incredible. Dilraba shone beautifully, and besides her, the supporting roles like Lin Shirou and Xing Shen were excellent. Lin Shirou played her part so well—despite her beauty and charm, she was a charismatic villain.
I also really liked Feng Mi and the doctor.
My rating for this drama is 9. 5 out of 10.
I wasn’t okay with some of the scene pacing, but they weren’t a big deal.
Overall, I enjoyed it, and if you’re a fan of the genre, I recommend it.

good drama
I was obsessed with it up until episode eight — I honestly thought it might end up being the best Japanese drama I’ve ever watched. But the last two episodes felt weirdly rushed. Until episode eight, it was this psychological, romantic, slightly thriller-ish story that played a lot with the butterfly effect, but then the ending suddenly stopped making sense. Everyone started blaming the main character for their own problems, and that really bothered me. I wanted them to realize they were responsible for their own mess. The ending could’ve been way more dramatic and interesting.I liked the female lead a lot… as long as she wasn’t crying. Her crying scenes didn’t really work for me. Takeru Satoh, though, was amazing as always.

epic ❤️
Oh my God, the last episode was absolutely epic.Takeru Satōh’s character honestly broke my heart — he’d been hurt by his closest friend, had a messed-up relationship with his brother, and carried so much pain on his own. But thanks to this group and everything they went through together, he finally found some peace, and I’m really glad he did.
About the story… I kinda wish they’d revealed their past earlier. One thing that always gets me uncomfortable with Japanese dramas is that they save the main emotional reveal for the very end, and it makes it harder for me as a viewer to fully connect with the characters while watching. I want to feel with them earlier, not all at once at the end.
But overall, the drama was super well-made. The production was great, the group dynamic was amazing, their bond felt really genuine, and the little romance was cute — I actually enjoyed it a lot.

This film truly inspires hope and appreciation for life.
It’s an artistic, beautiful, and deeply emotional movie. Some people fight just to live one more minute, while we let our days pass by without truly living them.
I loved it so much.
I’d seen the lead actress before in a drama, and I’ve admired her acting — she truly shined in this role.
