Give the cinematography department a raise because their rent was definitely with this one. Such good capturing skills paired with skilled actors gives you this.
japan bls and their obsession with weird meet cute of the leads. excluding how they've met part, i love the series. love the pacing and also love how 'slow' taishin talks. some might be watching it on a treadmill and hated why they can't just talk in 2x and fuck but i personally love how slow and intimate it is. i might love the actor who played taishin a little more than the one who played takara. he knows how the conventional character works and he potrayed it. i will probably go through his other works if there are any.
I call bullshit on the story line. Not only whatever the fuck happened between taebamheejudy but also upcoming shit between janeryan too. This series is literally giving what a 13 year old girl writes in her first story on wattpad. All those episodes focused on bamhee juggling between judy and tae were useless. they just wanted to get more air time and accidentally went with whatever they did right there. Not only breaking up with tae but she used judy like a rebound and when she did not feel the spark she went back to tae after he proposes with a fucking audience. It would be much better if she just rejected both of them and reflects on whatever shit she pulled. The writer responsible for bamhee needs to fired and given a new wattpad account instead because that's the only place where anyone would but this bullshit.
Well at least there is no queerbaiting here. The bl element was there and the indication about the relationship between major and song kang was not subtle. That's a win because they did not try to hide it considering the backgrounds of the actors in the movie. The bl, even though subtle was there. Yes. But honestly, from the plot point of view, why? It was nowhere near necessary to the story. I'm going to say this even if there was a female character in place of song kang. That part of plot might just be to pull the audience but at least make it make sense. Why was he even required? Getting a bl element with big actors feels good, I'm happy about it but that part of the story standing out like a sore thumb was disappointing. It felt like they did not even try to make it belong with the story.
