I think the ppl who invested money to produce these bl dramas were pissed that their money was spent with no return profit and pulled strings to get them to air. I remember last year ppl claimed that bl dramas will release when hell freezes over and here we are 🤣 according to aveneux what airs and when it airs is decided by backroom negotiations and investors.

Interesting but on the bright side anticipation for this has gone by 100% 😅 i watched the first eps if TSL very boring tbh. This one is more interesting becuz its from the same author as LBFAD and it has the dragon element which ppl like. Also the promotional photos of the leads are stunning!

They can air it in the last 10 eps of TSL too. It depends on how TSL is doing. I remember iqiyi rushed airing unchained love becuz they wanted to release something else.

Many drama actors are not conventionally attractive but have charisma or magnetism. Of you’ve seen unchained love peter ho is a good example. I think the ML lacks this tbh. Goodbye my princess was so good because of the FL imo.

Im watching ep 5 as we speak! I think the problem with xianxia is after LBFAD it set a very high standard and all these production companies already finished shooting these shows last year like this one, back from the brink and Chong zi that they look outdated in comparison. Maybe LBFAD was a once in a decade kind of drama but if feel like every xinaxia should aim for that level in terms of story telling, cgi and music.

Im up to episode 4 now. Not to be a hater but the show is a snorefest. The cgi looks horrible in comparison to love between fairy and devil. The pacing is slow and its bogged by palace comedy. Also, who’s the villain in the show? Its not clear at all. The ML acting looks forced and there’s no chemistry. I like the 2nd lead couple tho.

He’s not that bad looking but his acting is not that good tbh
