Yes I've heard gong gong so much but I didn't notice who it was applied to. It was getting me confused. And then when you said the name was forshadowing his future, I thought you meant forshadowing his death. Evidently, it was only the death of his family jewels. I haven't watched any more eps after I saw the clip of XD looking like he was about to be quartered (posted here after ep 28). So for now I have just been reading the spoilers.
