i have a theory... since the only person with the last name 'shen' around the leads is shen xiaojue, maybe shen cheng's father IS shen xiaojue, but his mother is wang manyu. maybe something happened between them and ye haitang ended up taking care of cheng, kind of like tang yixun with yu nian 😆

is it just me or is there are really big plot hole 😭 since day and night decided to test out the "dying" first, shouldn't it have occurred to them that instead of making ozone and dream go through it, that they themselves go through it instead? because if they "died," then the doctors could also just bring them back to life after, and they don't have to have ozone and dream go through it. if this was the case then it would've prevented what happened to day since leap day would think that day and night were dead so no one else would die 💀 it could also possibly prevent future death occurrences too if that tricks leap day successfully into thinking that they're dead???

i wish this was a 16 ep series! i think it would have been even better if they fleshed out the plot, the background behind leap day and how it came to be, and also if there was more behind "curing" leap day and the process of looking for that solution.

i think what i like about this drama is that the pace of the romance storyline feels subtle. i think i saw some people say that they don't feel the chemistry or that the ml didn't have any interest before he finds out that fl is his first love/crush, but i think that's not true! we see that there are scenes beforehand (i.e. when he's watching her through the door cam, his reaction of her doing aegyo) that there's definitely some attraction, just rather subtle and not as obvious as the fl. i like that the attraction is on the slower side and gradually develops through scenes of subtle intimacy. and i usually find the childhood trope overused, but here i think it's fun!! like it actually makes sense. i might be biased though because i really like seeing these too (visual wise) and they're cute together. :P

mzy and lyr's visual chemistry and chemistry in general is so insane like they just look so good together 😭 i'm going to miss seeing them
