I’m happy for shen yue…lot people complain why she’s not the female lead but for me it a big opportunity for her to acting together with a senior actor & actress. she will get a lot of experience from them and I want to say even she play supporting role her role still important here because her name after the main lead. from what I know wang churan character is actually Huandu Luolan (欢都落兰) is the Princess of Nanguo and the only daughter of the king Huandu Qingtian. She is saved by Pingqiu Yuechu, Dongfang Yuechu's first reincarnation and eventually falls for him and makes a Pledge of Love with him. She is primarily motivated by her wish to be reunited with Pingqiu Yuechu and is under the mistaken impression that the Tushan Matchmakers have screwed her and Pingqiu over in order to allow Dongfang to reincarnate rather than Pingqiu. from what I know dong fang yue chu adult character play by gong jun. and this two character have a love line. is it possible that gong jun might be a guest role here ? Grown up she has two cowlicks and purple hair with two long braids. Personality
Carefree and gluttonous, she loves to eat good food and is not above coercing yaoguai with her Pure Flame of Yang to fetch her some snacks.
She can be quite temperamental and nosy, prying into her sister Huaizhu's love interest in Baye, or getting into fights easily, challenging Chihuo to a duel after his fellow Daoists insulted the Dongfang name.
Even when grown up, she is still temperamental to her son Dongfang. She is still a glutton, taking away food from Yuechu, and always excited to eat lunch and dinner, challenging her own son to a race, saying whoever makes it to lunch last has to clean the dishes. She often demands Yuechu to do things to make her happy.
She teaches Yuechu to be vengeful against Wangquan (for taking Huaizhu's life energy) and Jin Renfeng. However, she takes a hedonist attitude, telling Yuechu that ultimately what is most important is to live a happy good life. When young she was captured by Du Fuzi but then freed by Baye and Huaizhu.
After Jin Renfeng rose to power, Qinlan and her sister Huaizhu sought refuge in the Wangquan Family. But Huaizhu ultimately died, sacrificing her life energy to give birth to Baye's son Wangquan Fugui so that he could become the ultimate Daoist weapon. Qinlan later accuses Wangquan of deliberately harvesting Huaizhu's energy for their own selfish means, something that Baye feels enormously guilty about.
