10 mins in and I love to see creative editing. I haven't seen that in a long time. I also like how he self regulates his emotions so well. This show is funny.
From what I understand, Kim Donghee gets beat up by his dad for being gay so he's reluctant to express that part of himself. he thinks it's bad and so when Go Hotae pursues him he resists, thinking he needs to protect Go Hotae from himself. I really enjoyed this so although I wish we could have got the full story. The chemistry was great. but why did I feel like I recognized the young man in the bookstore who picked up the scarf?
I wish they had made this in chronological order. I was pretty confused about the timing, thinking they'd been living together for 3 years... Not sure if the subs just weren't clear. I didn't understand their dynamic until the flashback in ep 6 to their schools days. Wish I'd had that context first. I'm rewatching starting with the flashback so I can get a better feel.
So dark, but so good. We never get enough raw shows about real poverty and the desperation of that life. This show is really good and stays true to the manga.
I really enjoy clever main characters who get one over on their rival. I really enjoyed hanna, such a brat but she takes advice so well! And park is just so fun and such a green flag.
It's giving maladaptive daydreaming by some girl who just wants a hot boy to come save her from the crushing weight of bills. Booktoks would love this and I'm totally okay with it despite it's ridiculousness.
i'm screaming people hating on kao suay for returning because of a sick father and trying to re connect with her…
So true, but the show makes you forget that and root for klawan. Imo she's leaning too hard to get back with oab and not respecting the pain she caused or allowing him to move on with someone else. She's clearly immature. But what klawan is doing is far worse.
Maya's death was so Maya.
Also, I need a special that's pure fluff and happiness.
