Omg today episode is so so awesome! I watched it at the gym on a treadmill, i stop the treadmill as the fight scene was so exciting as I’m afraid I’m gonna fall down because suddenly I found myself giving all my attention on the drama, my gosh! Definitely the best episode so far and the best fighting scene in my entire life of watching cdrama.
The romance in this is truly one of a kind ❤️ Their private moments together are really something, sensual, they make me blush, the kind that makes me feel shy to watch, but I can’t help wanting to see it!
I love that the male lead tried to grab the female lead’s hand when they were walking into the mansion. These small affectionate gestures, which we rarely see in C-dramas, make them feel like a real couple rather than actors playing roles. And the way they share cute kisses every time they see each other makes the romance even more believable and beautiful. Not to mention, I really love the female lead’s character in this. She remains smart throughout the story so far. The male lead is also supportive of her and respects her. I always look forward to their interactions when they’re alone because they’re just so cute as a couple.
I didn’t expect the romance to be this cute, especially in a drama focused on solving murder cases. Somehow, they made it work without it feeling forced or out of place. Everything flows so naturally. Also, thank goodness there’s no annoying little sister character here, ahahaha. I’m honestly so fed up with that trope in C-dramas!
Wow, that was a brilliant plot to counter the three-way stabbing. I didn’t expect it at all and this is exactly why I enjoy this drama so much, it gives me something I can’t predict, unlike the usual tropes that are reused again and again.
Somehow, when I saw the emperor looking at SYT and asking her age, I thought, why is he acting like this again?? 😤 then a thought struck me, what if the emperor is like SYM too, what if the script has been forcing him to treat NH cruelly, even though he never actually wanted to? that would be the only reason I’d forgive the emperor, otherwise… na-ah.
… and I was crying along with SYM when she was saying those words to NH at his bedside but when she suddenly said that if he didn’t wake up by the next morning, she would finish him off herself and take all his properties, etc. etc.. I burst out laughing while I was still crying 😂
Did it happened that, are they on same path together? Or is there still the misunderstanding.
The preview of today’s episode, SYM will finally explain the “script” to NH, so their relationship will improve, and it won’t be long before they’re on the same path together.

Sometimes I watch drama episodes at the gym, since that’s the only time I have while on the treadmill. With my headphones on, when there’s a sudden comedic scene, I have to hold back my laughter with my hand. I think people who see me must think I’m weird — but I just don’t care, lol
I stopped watching at episode 26 when I saw that angst was coming in the next previews, haha. I just watched 4 more episodes today, and I’m glad I made that decision! My poor heart couldn’t handle the angst — scene after scene of NH being misunderstood. I just want to see SYM and NH on the same path together 🥺
When I saw the preview for ep 27-28 where BJS turns into child like character, I was like, that’s so cringey, and was afraid I felt like I might not enjoy those episodes because of that. Sometimes, this kind of trope — where the male lead has multiple personalities — frustrates me, especially when one of the characters doesn’t resonate with me (example: starry love), thank goodness, for this one I’m wrong, BJS looks so cuteeeee, I can’t 😍

Same with you, BL is one of my fav actress (been loving her ever since I saw her in TL), but MM just didn’t click with me, I don’t know how to explain it, probably the way their told the story, too…episodic? ..and I hate the timeline when the color theme was all orange 😂 really want to like it though. This one really refreshing and love them both! The story sometimes slow pacing (a lot of talking) but somehow I didn’t click fast forward, I’m too immersed in their conversation 😊 the only annoying character to me is the thunder guy as of now, lol
