After watching Ep 6, I do feel for Asako to a certain extent (and I do feel like her mother's wish for a child pushed her to the limit). But... that doesn't negate the pain Yui and her family felt for 9 years either. I mean... they spent 9 years not knowing if Kou was alive or not. I'm not sure if I could handle that. I think not knowing makes it really unbearable.

I already watched the raw for Ep 7, and I started translating it (will probably be up in a few days from now)... but Ep 7 it really broke my heart to see Yui like that. The frustration I feel towards Asako hasn't changed. Like ugh, I was just crying so much watching Ep 7.

Are the episodes really 30 minuted? MDL says 1 hour. If they are only 30 minutes then there will be 32 episodes?…
Each episode is supposed to be 30~40 minutes, and yeah it's still 16 episodes. If you compare it to the original, they've already cut out some of the plot.

The song is called "취중진담 (Drunken Truth)" and the original singer is Jeon Ram Hui (전람회). It was released back in 1996, so a lot of Kpop artists have done covers of this song over the years. ^^

Well this is a special remake drama, so the episodes are not going to be 1 hour. (Similar to how web dramas are not 1 hour long.)

I'm not sure if this was mentioned already, but... in episode 11, the scene with Hye Soo and her friend Joo Yeon; the moment Joo Yeon realizes that Hye Soo is ill as the camera pans away... Man, that scene had me so emotional. The acting, music and directing was just perfect. There are so many scenes in this drama where there isn't dialogue, but yet the scenes are still so powerful.
