Thanks for sharing.

That's great. I saw that Viki has it now.

For Netflix viewers in the USA, the series is scheduled to premiere on February 2, 2019.

Viki has added a channel for "The Fiery Priest" and is seeking licensing.
Fans are invited to 'follow' the channel for licensing news and encouraged to send a title request form for international licensing. Thanks!

That's great. Thank you.
I forgot to mention to 'follow' the Viki channel in order to get updates.

Agree entirely. I was really shocked when I learned about Park Wan-seung's vasectomy, no wonder he didn't want to visit the doctor for fertility tests. I would feel really betrayed if I was Chi-yoo

Yeon Jung-hoon's character is wonderful, He's a compassionate, upright, and thoroughly likeable, although not one to mess with when you're caught doing something underhanded.

I thought he was familiar as I watched the first episode of "Ashes of Love", I recognized him from "Nirvana in Fire" as Prince Ji.

You're welcome! Enjoy the show.

I think the writer is trying to reach a broader audience by broadcasting exclusively with Netflix and using a theme (zombies) that is popular.
I read production on the next season will begin in February. So, we should have another six episodes. I will post information here when I hear about the premiere date for season 2.

I agree with you, I'd rather hear the native language and read the subtitles.

Yes, I realized two days after seeing the original article it had been edited, deleting the coming soon portion.
Hwayugi isn't available on Netflix where I live.
Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean about not being worth a Netflix treatment.

Hoping Viki can get licensing.

All six episodes are up with English subtitles. I believe the second season starts production in February 2019.

Licensed for the USA.

Coming soon to Viki.

You're welcome.

Coming to Netflix (USA) on January 29, 2019. Don't know about other regions.

I don't know about the delay for broadcast, but Soompi just stated that this drama is coming to Viki. There hasn't been a channel created at the time of my post.

Edit:
Soompi edited their drama on January 22, deleting the mention of the drama coming to Viki.
