Loved him in "Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings" and I would consider his role as main cast not supporting cast, based on his screen time. He and Sandra Ma's character were so cute together.
What a fun movie! After looking at the cast list here I recognized an actor I couldn't identify in the movie. I knew he looked familiar but I couldn't put a name to his face . . . it was Juan Ethan. Great cast and I was thrilled because Sandra Ma was a primary character.
That's great news! Fans in the Americas are hoping Netflix makes it available here too. Enjoy watching.
When Netflix premiered Park Hae-jin's "Man to Man" (which is JTBC just like "Life") it didn't come to Netflix-USA until after the final episode. Also, "Man to Man" didn't appear on any of the licensed sites (Dramafever, OnDemandKorea, Viki), only on Netflix as far as I know. "Life" concludes in September. I would be really surprised if it isn't on Netflix-USA if it is truly coming to Canada and Brazil which other fans have reported.
Thanks so much for sharing the links for fans!Actually, I've noticed on Viki's fan channels, the 'following' count…
The dubbing can be very annoying, especially when the timing is off. My interest in Chinese drama started with the 2000 movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". I'd never seen the wuxia genre so it was strage and new to me. I definitely watch way more Korean drama than Chinese. I never dreamed I'd be doing this in my retirement years too. My daughter goes with me to see Korean and Chinese movies, but doesn't watch dramas. Except she did watch "City Hunter", "Faith", and "The Good Doctor" with me. My husband tries to watch but can't keep up with reading subtitles and watching the show. So, I'm really happy to have a community of fans like you to share my comments with.

Ha ha, you're right I have to be careful of watching too many series too. But I think it's good for our 'old' brains because watching is an 'exercise' in remembering. When watching Chinese costume dramas I always keep their Wiki page open to use as a reference guide. So many names, and different kingdoms to remember. I'm watching three Chinese costume dramas now that I really enjoy: "Oh My General", "Untouchable Lovers", "Secret of the Three Kingdoms", and "Nirvana in Fire". Trying to avoid the summer heat, it's been 112 degrees + so I'm being reclusive to stay cool. So glad there are so many dramas to watch, lol.

That's great news! Thanks for letting us know. Nothing comes up for me (in the USA) when I search. Hope we hear something soon.
