I just watched TVN’s interview with the cast and it’s pretty obvious that the loveline is between Hyewon and Jungwoo. Seolhyun and NGM were talking about how much their hearts fluttered for each other during one scene.. i’m translating here because it seems like a lot of people are interessed on a LCH and NGM loveline. it may have a love triangle, who knows after all.

seolhyun IS the female lead. it may be like Start up where the second lead gets a lot of spotlight.

did i misunderstand or hyewon will also have a childhood conection with jamie and jungwoo? i mean... that picture in her house, wasn’t that the white village? also trying to understand the last scene...

Awaken has a romance tag so I think it will have romance but until now it’s not clear what will be be loveline.

i get what you mean!!! i just hope people don’t skip this really promising drama bc of her lol her acting (at least in ep 1) didn’t stop me enjoying every second of it.

i get what you mean at the train scene lol still trying to understand why they stopped jamie from saving him + jungwoo trying to save him when the train was already too close jdkdkdkdk that was the only thing that bothered me.

just a comment for people that are avoiding this drama because of Seolhyun: I personally didn’t hate her acting in this episode, i’m usually very picky about acting but I don’t think her’s is that bad like people are saying..

i just watched the first ep! don’t know if the subs were 100% accurate but everything about this was amazing. this drama is very promising, loved the interactions between the police squad, so much chemistry!! the bits of humor were also so good! i’m rooting for this, i hope i don’t get disappointed at the end.

i actually don’t even hate this plot. i thought they would just ruin his character by making him lie and stuff like that so at least he is keeping his essence. it’s a good boy indeed.

can someone explain to me why NDS and SDM are acting like there’s something stopping them from being together??? SDM broke up with NDS 3 years ago to make him pursue his dream, he comes back now so why don’t they just sit and talk about their feelings???? pls i can’t LOL there’s literally NOTHING stopping them, even thought it’s only a drama and of course it can have some unrealistic things but this is too much.

things i didn’t understand in this ep:
1. this time skip??? to me it seems like the time skip was only meant to NDS and SST boys to get rich and “mature”. at least for me, beside their new hair, everyone looks like they are in 2016.
2. it’s 2020, HJP still liked SDM all this time and yet he decided to make a move only after 3 years??? i can’t.
3. that couch scene between SDM and HJP?? HJP basically confessed to her and she was like ????WTF???? (that was humilliating, sorry. i was all about jidal until this scene)
4. SDM and WIJ were so awkward. they’re sisters working together for over 3 years and there was such a small evolution.
5. 3 years and HJP’s only friends are still Yeongsil and his assistant.
6. i can’t believe they’re going to make the same character who told SDM that NDS feelings for her were real before confessing act all petty and be the “wall” between the main couple. i hate it here.

again, only watching this because of HJP and KSH but i’m gonna keep complaining until the end lol

I knew since the beggining that they were going to ruin HJP character in order to make NDS look better.. if you look at it, it was pretty obvious: every time SST succeed, NDS would have flashbacks of HJP “harsh” words to him; and then HJP himself had flashbacks and felt guilty. now, NDS is back rich and mature while HJP is probably going to lie to keep NDS away from SDM which doesn’t make sense since HJP character was supposed to be selfless. Writer, come on.. why would you make a character with such a good story only to make him the “childish” one at the end??? I don’t think this will make people root for NDS now..

think about this: you have this super cool character portrayed by a super good actor with a amazing backstory and then suddenly the writer of the show decides to only make him suffer. would u be happy if it was your bias? it’s super frustating. and since this is only a TV show, there’s nothing toxic about not liking the others characters lol i don’t enjoy their scenes and that’s it.

can you tell me what Black ending was supposed to be? I watched it but the ending was so so to me

oh yes, i know. i mean the one that will have a romance with the male lead because i heard that there will be romance in this drama. but the relationship chart is out and seolhyun is the one who has a crush on ML so i’m guessing it’s her :)
