without reading the below comments, and I did not read the webtoon, I guessed this drama exceeds my expectation, it is predictable, however, it still enjoyable, fast pace, and the ML’s acting is at peak. You can see the differences between two personality. I enjoyed it, let us wait next week for the remaining episodes. It’s getting interesting, I an trying to imagine and predict what will happen in the next plot.

This drama’s ending was predictable from the start. just check the poster. and with all the spoilers weibo user posted in the first week. All the side characters will die. So I already spoiled myself from the start.

I am not a fan of Liu Yuning as well, but also I could not consider Zhang Linghe as good actor either. He only has the visuals but acting wise, it’s a meeh, mediocare, his acting during emotional scenes while he is crying is like holding his fart for too long.
He is not doing extra ordinary in all the dramas I have seen him. Mostly, the FL carried the drama for him.

I almost gonna agree with what you all said, but you mentioning Zhang Linghe as a bench mark is kinda meeh! I remember he was overshadown by the SML acting, charisma and aura in My Journey to You.
