That’d why this drama should have been titled “The Legend of Lou Mingxi” cause he is the only one serious and focus with the plot.

Just like his response for the big identity revealed. Han Ye’s like “Oh Di Ziyuan so you have been very close to me all day long”, then show the flash back. That’s it? haha Then completed his drawing. But many have said here that Han Ye’s character is smart, complex, kind and typical good sense of justice crown prince. Who has many goals in his life.

I am not expecting much about this drama anymore on how they will develop the revenge plot.

This is an idol drama, most fans are here because of the romance and the visuals of the actor/actress while others are for the plot.

I want angst, emotional complex situation to make the drama more interesting as this is a revenge plot.

We should have send email to MDL to stop recommending this drama to Nirvana in Fire cause there is no way they are near to each other.

Instead we are not getting much of the revenge plot, give me chaos, give me angst, ming games all in the name of revenge. I will expect this drama will get below 5 rating in douban.

I completely agree, the big reveal was really boring and anticlimatic with no hype at all. But some watchers here said they enjoyed Han Ye's reaction cause that How his character is. 😂 Instead he just said, so you are the real Di Ziyuan who was just close with me all the time. 🤣 WTF

He is not that smart, he has been gas lighted with everyone. Even someone says the earth is flat he will believe it.
Bruh, how am I brainwash with based on what the drama has shown so far Han Ye has only 1 goal in mind which is to marry Di Ziyuan or now Anle, will this change? I don't know it is not shown in the drama yet how he will grow.

Did we see any changes of Han Ye's character so far?
A complex character demonstrates different characteristics of his personality or have some development or maturity of his character as the plot deepens. Which is not happening so far.

He should have realized by now why Di Ziyuan changed her identity, what could be her agenda/reason. There should be an inner contradiction between them like I am expecting Han Ye later will know that the main objective of Anle is revenge, and she will starts harming his family, they are not fit for each other, they have conflicting desires and the road for them to be together will be like hell as the plot deepens.

Yeah, most traffic idols cannot act even well and they are getting ML roles. Yangyang is not that bad and I agree that he cannot show the scenes perfectly that involved very emotional scenes. Cnetz like the cold, possessive ML though.
There are only very actors that can well that is Dylan Wang who improved so much coming from Meteor Garden era till now. Bai Jing ting is also a good actor. others are just stone wood type of character with one dimentional emotion.

Destined is far better than this. It is one of the best historical cdrama of 2023. Even cnetz were impressed.

They can fly and have a strong body like steel. 😂

Novel readers boldy saying how the pace is setting up the revenge plot. It is because all of you knew who were involved in the Di Family massacre. You even knew how the novel ended. But as per what was shown in the drama, there are only 3 characters who might be involved in the massacre. The Emperor, The Empress Dowager and Marquis Gu. Marquis Gu was automaticly involved cause he was there in Di Ziyuan House killing her family, Empress Dowager was involved by sending a secret letter as shown by Princess Anning’s flash back. Of course the emperor cause the massacre will not happen without his approval. We don’t even know the agenda of the left chancellor and Lingbie(Assistant of princess anning). Why they are doing their own scheming. Marquis Gu’s downfall was not even done by Anle or LMX plans but because of the Left Chancellor. He was set up. We only knew that Marquis Gu is evil and corrupt, the only reason why he was involved because his son involved with the Zhao Family and coincidentically zhong Hi is the servant who was owner of the Di familys coin. And to say Han Ye’s character is complex, how in the world his character complex? He is one dimentional bland character who has only 1 goal in life, which is to marry Di Ziyuan, and now he knows Anle’s identity, he is like a raging horny bull desperate to be with Anle. How it is complex? It is not shown in the drama yet. I might agree if Anle starts killing his family. Then, that is the angst I am looking for. Imagine the girl you love is killing your family. Then, it is worth to use the word complex to described for.

After finishing all the episodes and reading all the summary. It warms my heart watching WCR and Yangyang very comfortable, WCR showing concern when YY slipped and enjoying their variety show Hello Saturday. Hoping for an eng sub for the whole episode.

In to the next drama.

The brother has one sided liking towards her sister which I found creepy and don't like his character. She only treats him like a brother and that's all.

You will like the FL character development . Just be patient it will be so much better if you survive episode 11-12. Remaining episodes are good from getting to know each other till they will start dating.

The fact that it is the biggest, the risk is high to fail which I am worried cause cnetz are crazy and are bullies. Wish them luck.

Yeah man. Han Ye is a total disappointment. Do you think they they tone down his character because of Gong Jun cause I far as I know he cannot act that well. I have watch his other dramas. He is like a slow, calm, soft manner type of guy. Like he cant act tough or manly, sometimes thought that he is gay in the way he acts. Just observed how he acts when he will say "Ren Anle" it is so forced.

Still, turtle 🐢 is far more faster than the plot development here. We wasted 18 episodes for nothing.
