A beautiful drama not just in aesthetics but in story too. I wish I could rate it higher than 10/10. Bai Lu brought a really spectacular performance to her character Bai Shuo and Xing Yue even the evil Bai Shuo. I love her chemistry with Ao Rui Peng. I am glad to start 2025 with a beautiful drama as this.

Don't forget the fact its also an Iqiyi love on series. Dramas under this category are all original works. Also, if you know how chinese dramas work, not everything is 100% going to be exactly the same as the novel. Believe what you want to believe, this is not a SEQUEL. Majority of watchers here didn't even watch ALP yet they could understand the storyline.

This is is the reason why many other people who didn't even watch ALP are watching this drama now too yet they could follow the storyline. It's because it is standalone. I believe if they wanted to do another sequel to ALP this drama wouldnt be releaed in Iqiyi platform in the first place. The fact that Iqiyi was able to pull the author and is not afraid to launch it is because they knew that its different. Yes, i hope they do.

Sighs I bet majority of ALP fans will start complaining just because this isn't the sequel they thought it is 🤦‍♀️

I don't have to read the whole novel. I already said I checked from those who posted about it on weibo lol. You can also search baidu baike go to chinese website to learn. I don't have to fully read a novel just to know the information when I do research on it. Also, the fact its on iqiyi love on series says it all. Whoever edited the mdl page made a mistake for saying its parent story is ALP when its not. The book is actually also published I already bought it but it'll take a while to get to me.

Moonlight Mystique is not a sequel of ALP. The original author of ALP decided to create a new novel and just adapted the characters Yuemi & Tianqi from their previous work. Novel readers and everyone in China and other international viewers are well informed that this is an original new work. It is in no way connected to ALP. Do not trust the information in this page stating its parent story is ALP when it is not. It's a standalone drama.

I didn't but I know about the novel because I check on weibo, post from the cnetz and lurongs who read the novel and who bought the book. Even cnetz know its not really a sequel because the author changed so much. You can check weibo & baidu baike etc other cent sites about dramas.
