Well, I mean if someone wiped out your race and family, you would hate them whether it’s the past or future,…
Even after being betrayed, he still chose to love her. Tantai Jin doesn’t derserve this horrible fate. He was such a great person but the world never saw it this way.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy your watch and let me know how you found this show once you’ve finished it! I’d like to hear your opinion. It’s hard to find a person on MDL who discusses about the show and share their point of view respectfully these days. I’m glad I got to hear your opinions.

[‼️SPOILER WARNING ‼️]
She actually doesn’t end up getting the spikes into him as he destroys the last three spikes. Those spikes can form as long as he is in love with her, there’s no need for Susu’s love to be genuine. Although by that time, she probably has already fallen for him.
But honestly, their love is the hardest thing to understand. I have absolutely no idea when she started to love him or even how.

First of all, I’d like to say that Susu was indeed full of many MANY flaws, especially during the first episodes and ESPECIALLY for the way she treated Tantai Jin.
But being a celestial being wasn’t her choice and protecting people from evil was her destiny, not her job just yet, she was just 20 when all that happened. Even if now, her job is to prevent him from becoming evil (by keeping him alive), her personal goal is to take revenge for her family, sect and race, and it must have been hard for her to suppress all that hatred within.
I’m just simply trying to point out that as hard as it was for Tantai Jin, it was hard for Susu as well. I think we should empathize with her feelings like we did with Tantai Jin.
Oh girl is supposed to be a celestial being and the first thing she does when she gets to be human is be cruel,…
Well, I mean if someone wiped out your race and family, you would hate them whether it’s the past or future, right? Susu’s reaction was just instinct. She later understands that being evil was not his choice but what the world forced him to be.
On the other hand, the Tantai Jin now is just an innocent person who doesn’t deserve to be treated so badly without a reason. But the person in the future is not him, it’s the Devil Lord, the person who murdered many innocent people for his so called ‘revenge to this world’. Many of the people he killed (including Susu’s sect) did nothing wrong to him. He should have revenged to the people who hurt him, but he went on a rampage to kill the entire world instead.
So what Susu did was very wrong and maybe petty, but she wasn’t being evil or cruel. It’s very hard not to kill a person who you hate to the core, especially when they’re right in front of you powerless.
After being Bai Lu’s #1 fan, being in the same drama THRICE and having unrequited love TWICE, Wang Xingyue FINALLY gets his girl. This was a long journey for sure
when they time travel and she is in high school ---how much older is he and do they develop a romance with her…
When she travels in time, she is 18 and the ml can be somewhere around 21-24. It’s almost like a slow burn so they’ll develop romance when they’re in university/ college
