episode 14, didnt like the storyline at all, especially zou's action. Writer could have used alternative ending for her and brother.

The acting has been great and I am rooting for the ML and his friend. Can someone help me understand the Chastity Arch ordeal? Is this some sort of cult religion in historical China? In episode 12, the Advisor guy and authority forced FL to the Zou's school when they thought ML died. It was said something like earning merits and building arches. I really dont understand the reasoning.

not just that, they dressed to impress. the princess and the chancellor stood out from the regular people on in the city knowing theynare sought after. the emporer lv is a stupid moron. schemed for years and still cant kill the princess? literally in thr same cpmppund with prince wuyin. everyone thought she died at the cliff, so why not ask wuyin to throw away the pills or havr him off her?

each later episode tops the last for being stupid writing. save yourself time and skip this one.

one of the best drama. rewatched after two years. better the second time.

audible, clear, and concise. she a young actress playing a grown women's part, but talks like a 5 years old. carries a 5 years old demeaner. terrible casting.

i hate the fl's voice. did the director ask her to whisper the entire serie? poor casting.

i had similar thought, f that mother. later it was revealed she was going through shit. she was dying (died later). she wanted to put pressure on daughter loser boyfriend. she wanted her daughter to wake up and stop following his dream.

his dream did come true. the movie he directed was a success. you didnt watch it.

great script. watch to the end.

the trials he went through made him humble and appreciate the simple life. hence, going back home and making hotpot. male lead grew up. female lead grew up. they both realise they still have a long life to live and connnot continue to hold onto the past, but the past has shaped them and will be cherish. good drama.

what is wrong with that girl's mother. and why are they followering through with her demands. dont buy the apartment. enjoy the little battle sucess.

turned off by the ridiculous scenario of powerful no good mother in law and weak story.

drama slowed down way too much. i was bored and fast fowarded the teen brother arc. .more benjamin and dr pei and sasin in later episodes please....
