The name that you are referring to is "Adulkittiporn" and NOT AdulTkittiporn. There is no "T".
I have no intention of attacking anyone here, I do understand that its a natural reaction n seeing these complex names, especially when such words pop up, but its really not nice to make fun of someones name or language. Just because there is a "porn" here doesn't mean it directly refers to the english meaning. Just because we dont understand something doesn't mean we have a right to make fun of it without knowing about it first.

The beauty of this forum is that people so many ethnicity, languages and back grounds meet to share ideas and experiences of their favourite non-english drama, yet it's sad how some make fun of names and languages they don't understand.

Thai language is derived from Sanskrit and Pali language, one of the oldest languages and the names given to the kids are a parents labor of love.

"Porn" if I am right means blessing in Thai and its part of the surname.
Yes there are some "modern" kids who hate their names but thats not the case with everyone. The one reason for having short names is the Thai people understand that they have complex names so to make it easier for others they keep a pet name and keeping pet names is quite common in many Asian households.

As far as changing names is concerned, I dont think anyone can change their family name. At least not in normal circumstances. And also I would like to share this one interesting information, Thai surnames belong to only one family. So if you meet two people with "Adulkittiporn" or "Wiraporn" surname, it means that they are most likely related or from the same blood line. And no I am not Thai.

I hope my mini rant here maybe helped you understand a little bit about the beautiful Thai culture. I bear no ill will and I hope what I have shared will be taken in the peaceful spirit it was shared in.

I have searched high and low for Eng subs for episode 8 but they are obviously not there. Is there any kind samaritan who has watched it and give a summary (the more detailed the better) as to what happened in the last episode. Why did Mod and Mint both betray Fah? Whats the status of Mek and Fah? Her parents? And how the hell is Fon getting away with so much bullying? The ending felt very open ended.
