I TOTALLY agree with you, for the people who say that kdramas are losing their identity a couple dramas wont hurt and the point of this story either ways is how people from different backgrounds view KOREA. It's like the same with Black sitcoms sometimes there is a character who is not black but they show that characters relation to each other. SHARING struggles

I see the point of view you are at while you were watching The Heirs and most people might agree with. The likable thing about heirs is just everything you mentioned I think the story was overexaggerated and cringe but that's why it was good, the same goes for Boys over flowers.
