there's so much to unpack here and at the same time... there isn't? that starting conversation in part1/4 was just ???? absolutely no plot development whatsoever there despite being so promising. they could have actually let lian own up to that-- that he DIDNT love kuea in the beginning and slowly fell in love with him. that kind of plot progression would have been nice and would have had some substance to it.
the selling point of this bl to ME personally was that "established relationship but hey they don't love each other so they're now gna fall in love and understand e/o" trope that the trailer hinted at. what im currently getting is the "established relationship AND they love each other but will not tell e/o about it cause they like to beat around the bush" plot which I'm not gna lie is uncomfortable to watch at points and gives no substance or progression cause... my god why is kuea's entire personality now revolving around "lian loves me" "no! he doesn't!" and the cycle repeats.
with all of that said, here's something positive: diao, my guy, proud that u at least know how to stand up for yourself. keep going buddy!
not @ nuersyn's sprinkled out scenes turning out to be my fav ones cause maybe sometimes im just a sucker for the cute fluffy side couple but dude the way their chemistry works here i want them to have a series so bad i will surely be tuning in!
also gotta find out more about the guy playing syn cause 1) he's CUTE cute 2) he's got some solid acting potential 3) love his comedic scenes in fact i love the whole kuea friendgroup they are so funny
this show is the best thing ever happened to me like i don't think im gna get tired of rewatching THAT WAS SO SATISFYING and the hints of season 2???? hell yeah like literally todd is in a coma we have an open ending rn
i love this series so much... oh man. it makes you THINK it makes you question and its not as if it is done so that there is a definite bad/good guy narrative w the whole hero/villain thing. its done so that different people can interpret situations in different ways. what may look right to me might irk someone else because both the sides are shown and emphasized. everyone's human. its refreshing.
idk until which episode nunew is gna be able to save this for me currently he's the only reason why im here (and obv the bounprem cameo anticipation)
but im gna stick around for a while cause i am hoping this show is actually gna address the unhealthy relationships going on. ofc im always in for good relationship development and addressing issues such as controlling behavior of partners n stuff lets see
