so here's what i think (may be wrong may be right) Lin mom has some hidden agenda which drifted jane and lin apart but jane's aunt is the good one, i think she's the one who put that shirt in jane's wardrobe from the storage box so lin can see it because she knew jane is sort of afraid of declaring her love. and that's the only way to make lin see that jane is in love with her. (it was a long shot but it happened possibly)
