Please hire a competent screenwriter for any of your future series. You already showed talent in writing a novel,…
Is it actually a good novel if it promotes rape, dub-con, incest, violence? and then make a joke out of it? I dont think so fam.

The fact that people here want to lock her up for fiction is quite scary. Are you against freedom of expression?…
Rape, dub-con, incest, violence, are real life issues. Not just fiction. Please stop the "shipping" of your BL actors for a second, and see the real problem. It's one thing to present these issues and present real solutions, but it's also another thing to use them as plots, stem "love stories" from them, and never address these issues anyway. It even seems like she's promoting them. She's not a BL writer, she's actually a bit internally homophobic. Please open your eyes.

Let's all admit tho, the only reason she is this famous is because of good actors and directors. If LBC has been followed verbatim, it would've still involved rape. Good thing that was toned down on the series. And don't get me started with TTTS and LBC2. One of the worst stories in any BL I have seen. The overrated plots and romanticization of rape, violence, dub-con, and disrespect are sickening. It's why some people think BL fans are toxic because we get generalized that Yaoi fans condone rape and shit. Fck no.

I hope writers like her either wake the fck up and use their fame and influence to actually be decent and be a role model. Or stop creating toxic, fantasy shits for impressionable fans.

I'm just happy some series with healthy relationships, legit LGBTQ+ representation are also getting attention. Hopefully, the upcoming BL series actually step up their game and raise the real LGBTQ+ agenda.

Hi! I actually created an account here so I could reply to this comment. So here goes.I'm honestly a little puzzled…
And also the main thing that differentiates the cliche and the clutter for me, is the intent and the passion. If they're passionate of actually delivering good quality series, and it shows. Usually with the editing, the acting, the script, the directing, and that's what does it for me. Yes the clicheness drives me crazy sometimes, BUT if the quality is there, it's fine. Like fanfics for example. Fanfics is where ALL the crazy shit happens. All the creativity and the imagines being put to words, but even with fanfics, you can only write so much plots without it being cliche or redundant, right? So what differentiates a good fanfic from others? The usage of words and imagery. the usage of raw emotions to hook a reader. The use of cliche and turning them into sumn your own. I just think that's all there is to it. hehehe

The more Thai bl drams progressing the more it becoming worse, this is exactly what happened to Kdrama, the more…
Hi! I actually created an account here so I could reply to this comment. So here goes.

I'm honestly a little puzzled that you think this way. Although maybe because I don't share your interest in Kdramas. I have only seen 1 kdrama in my entire life from start to finish, and even if I was able to, I still wasn't impressed by it. It's "Chicago Typewriter" by the way.

I'm someone who has grown up watching western movies and series, and my first BL is actually also western. It's "Queer as Folk". But when I discovered Thai BL, it kinda changed the gear for me. So, I'll be basing and judging everything from a western-films-viewer perspective.

I'm not here to judge your view on the recent BL series, because I, myself, am disappointed with some of them. But even then, you're negativity with everything (even with ITSAY) seems a little puzzling. Maybe because I have grown up watching western films, Thai BL is very fresh and new for me, because 1. the difference in culture, 2. the difference in characters as opposed to western characters, 3. the difference in plots.

But I get your point. There seems to be a little generic, and cliche with the recent plots, and I see it too. However, Western, Asian, most plotlines will usually be a little the same because, I think there could only be so much stories yk?

But, I don't share your opinion where replacing female, with another male character, making 2 leading male characters= fresh. Cause that's not what made it fresh. So this for me is a little let down.

Here are some of my issues with recent BL series,

1. It's not just replacing the female with another male interest. It's the LGBTQ representation. But with the growth of the popularity and the market for BL, the plots and the over-all production, has shifted, catering to the bigger share of the market. And THIS is what disappoints me. The romanticizing of 2 boys/men in love, has become a fetish for girls. THIS is what's disappointing, and I was hoping you meant this, not just the plots.

2. The way where these series finds it humor in male harassment, and making it even some kind of punchline of a joke. Or the "why are you scared, are you gay?" that is very, very disrespectful for the LGBTQ community.

3. The romanticization of rape. Rape is rape whatever media, country, belief, region or religion, you are. Eg: TharnType, 2gether, TWM, and so many other series, where rape is normalized, and even considered sexy by some fans. And the term "Love Rape" where there is a kind of rape where it is "okay" because the perpetrator is in love with the victim, or that they are lovers. And that's wrong. These kinds of plots are the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT, in my opinion. And this is why I don't get the popularity of 2gether and TTTS. How could these fans, love and even defend these kinds of trope? This is very toxic.

4. "Wife-Husband" trope. They're literally 2 males. Unless if both partners prefer these kinds of endearment, that's fine. But usually it's just one partner forcing it, or just the fans dubbing the couple as "husband and wife" and that's just weird. And also when the other guy imposes his role as the "Husband". and the "You're mine." "You belong to me," they're human beings, not objects.

So for me, what makes Thai BL fresh and new for me, is the difference of culture and POV. It's like how you think Japanese films are good. Because they have a very strong hold with their culture, and beliefs, and they showcase that in their movies, and so that entices you. But it doesn't mean that Thai BL is any different. You have to consider that Thai's have different perspective than outsiders.

Okay, maybe the popularity, and the growing thought of conforming to the masses is there, but I still think it doesn't make it bad. Altho 2gether is a very big let down. That series is not BL at all. It's even almost queer-baiting. But at least they tried to compensate with still 2gether.

All I'm saying is you're missing the main point of BL. Which is LGBTQ+ representation in the mass media. And that's it. I've watched queer movies for years, and years. And I can't see myself stopping to watch BL because I'm in it for the representation, and not the "cutesy" plots and edits.

I hope you didn't find this offensive. But I'm happy that you actually spoke up about your opinions.
