Yeah so like half of my aunties and uncles have had an arranged marriage, my grandma is very old she had the same and was forced to have kids to move to the uk on her own. My grandad was abusive and a drunkard but he later changed his ways when i was born. I am 22 and moving out soon but I do feel for characters portrayed in Asian dramas since I can somewhat relate to it. She is unlikely to get me married, the issue is me finding someone to marry since that's when the drama starts since ik they wont accept him😭
Our family is very conservative so yeah i have been judged harshly for small stuff like wearing makeup or skirts or doing dance but I stood up for myself haha.
If I find a bf I will have to consider the harsh reality and will have to let him know. Last time she chased a boy out the house when he came over (so embarrassing) but I won't surrender it depends how far I want to go with the guy and if I want to marry. I will date him and introduce to family only if marriage is possible. my cousins brought her bf too early and my grandma wanted them to get married ASAP it was crazy haha.

Ah i know but I grew up with them not my parents since they both had full time jobs so I never lived with my parents so it's a bit different I get where your coming from though. In the end I'm just going to have to do what I want to but I know it's going to be hard. No everyone's cup of tea but I personally enjoyed it the more episodes I watched. There were a few things that were weird but you can look past for the story.
Yeah honestly imo the storyline was very anti climatic for me and the acting, lines and nudity was too much. Thanks for bein kind tho a lot of people on here don't take well to others opinions so it's nice change haha
