somehow found myself wandering back here...this drama was my favourite when it first came out! i was what? 10-12…
same! this was one of the first dramas I watched and it really got me into them haha; def agree that even though the quality isn't as great as what's produced nowadays it'll still be special in its own way; reading your comment has me all nostalgic now LOL
attempted to watch this a month ago and was only 9 eps in but the plot literally gave me a headache so I had to drop it; came back to this page to see what people thought of it after it was completed and I'm glad we all agree xD
Can someone please spoil to me the back story behind the tribe?
no backstory is ever given on how the tribe came to be; we only get info on the surroundings and the experiences of one of the tribe members who went up to the surface in her youth
idk who it is but someone keeps approving really bad photos of actors. if you request to replace a bad quality…
yea all my edits on profiles are usually rejected quite bluntly by the same person so chances are its the same one :(
and for yang yang's profile I'm not too fond of the current picture either :/ I wish there was some sort of voting system? or some way for us as users to actually change it because I've never heard of anyone successfully being able to. Part of the reasoning was that "we can't satisfy everyone's tastes" but I'm pretty sure a majority would agree with a better image.

yea samee I've been trying to request new pictures of actors because they don't look like themselves in the photos but the same person keeps rejecting and is not very nice in doing so either
I loved it don't get me wrong but some plot arcs were soo draggy and somewhat unnecessary? I skipped entire episodes…
I definitely agree. I feel like the ep count could have been lowered significantly and the drama overall would have been a lot more enjoyable. I found myself fast forwarding a ton of scenes towards the middle-end of the drama.
im confused, so did zhao yunlan die in the end or not? because they showed a scene that had him talking to reporters a year after the incident, but the cat guy and the scientist were like oh, the real chief zhao's watching us from heaven??
This is about 30% romance, 10% crime drama and 60% stuffing. There is a thread of a decent love story in it. But,…
i agree ; halfway through ep 10 and i cannot stand his stalking it's actually so creepy how he tracks her and just watches her from afar there's no limit to how obsessive he is over her like bruh she was getting married and he went from china to america for what? to see her get married? he's insane
Is it just me or did they change the official ending? When I first watched it, (when it was first aired), the ending was the one where he saw YunXi picking herbs at the end, but recently I went back to the drama and YunXi doesn't appear at all? Does anyone know where the old ending still exists cuz both on maplestage (mainland chinese no subs website) and youtube (w subs) the ending is changed.
am watching on raw, i don't understand Chinese... can someone explain to me what happened on ep 39 and 40??? what…
she was sent back in time by the state preceptor (current) with the task to kill mu le since without him existing in the present the divine beads wouldve never left the tang empire---thats why everything in the present (like his bro being in prison) has not happened yet and the purple hair girl i think ur talking about is zhen zhen and she's not bad from what i can tell, she's just very loyal to their kingdom and is looking out for ah ying's well being; she believes that yuan an is harmful to ah ying
the two "grapes" are actually two seeds and in that particular scene the king and queen were testing the two princes as to their integrity. since the older prince's friend used dark magic (or just magic) on it, it grew; and the younger prince (Ah Ying)'s friend grew it (probably also by magic); in the end Ah ying confesses that he did not actually plant anything from guilt but his older brother doesn't confess anything; the test was that the seeds would actually yield no flowers without any sort of magic, so technically, if they both did it right they would return with still-empty flower pots; in the end the king and queen said Ah ying passed only because he confessed in the end and has integrity while the older brother lacks that
hope that answers some of your questions if you have more reply back bc its hard to keep track of what happened in which ep so im not sure if i covered what u coudlnt get :)
Dropping this show at the 11th episode mark. Rating = 3/10This show is probably the suckiest adaptation of the…
glad someone else feels the same way as me xD although im on ep 38 now so i just want to finish it. found myself skipping through a lot of their scenes together (which is super sad considering the whole drama is supposed to be surrounding them). i read that the drama was supposed to also be about shancai making dao ming si a better person but it seems that he barely has changed and shancai just gets more and more dislikeable. its the classic main leads breaking up and getting back together constantly and dao ming si seems to put it way more effort compared to shancai who is harsh to him time and time again.
i will say i find it somewhat entertaining still for whatever reason because the cute scenes are still REALLY CUTE but yea their relationship is just so frustrating to watch

ep 50: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMY5wZqPkoo is just the sad one?
omg that was so confusing LOL
