My god, this show is frustrating to watch. If it's not one thing it's another between them and at times it's really no issue. If people you know talked and communicated like normal people this show would be a bit better but I guess drama writers don't understand that yet. Also for the love of God, these shows need to normalize telling people they have a kid of the way and not hide it.

iirc at that the time they don't know they are undercover but later i think rong tells them that mu qing is undercover and down the road he tells them about his sister also

In a way, it strays away and becomes a different "love" arc as they introduce another female character. For the 2nd half it does have a different tone to it it gets a bit more serious but it was a great show to watch and finish looking forward to season 2
