well wasnt the mc in anime lowkey the same? the parasyte couldn't get into his ear so it went to his arm. wasnt he a mutation too? idk... and maybe we'll see them stronger in the upcoming season if there will be one. i agree with you, even though i didnt watch the anime, the parasytes were kind of weak.

every episode is very fun on its own, never boring. the backstories are well written and shown, really just takes u without you realizing, so if u have a doubt if you should watch it or not, do it!

yeah we can! but people are saying since chen nian didnt turn back and look at him, and remembered him while teaching about "sense of loss / used to be" it was all in past and he is no longer in her life, but that is not confirmed either
