if you watch the orig version, the one playing that role just focused on 9-6pm time and can't be bothered afterwards as he is a family man. what's funny is that all he does is talk about the FL on twitter during office hours. the current arc wherein he scouted the artist of FL is part of the orig. until the end of the series he did not have a char devt although im not sure if the kr version will follow it.

i respect your opinion but i know other actors who act dumb based on rhe given char and still nail their acting. have you watched him on the shows i mentioned above?
