Give it a go. I think it's not only one of the best drama's of the year but all time. The plot kept me hooked through the entire season. The only downside is waiting for season 2 which is in 2022

I think there is a trend here. Yang Mi pairs up with a guy who is super popular but hasn't done a drama in at least 10 years, then they make a super addictive amazing super spectacular wuxia drama together.

For anyone thinking about watching this and haven't seen the older versions, I would start there. The story itself is really great, but I don't think this cast pulled it off so well. It's hard to try and make the story unique and different, when it's based off a classic. In this case the classic drama is better.

Worth a try. Warning there are a lot of comedic moments involved. So if you like that type of drama I would recomend starting this

I know that Tang Mi is in both Negotiator and Les Interprètes, but beyond that, how are the two drama's related?

hasn't ended yet, but I think all historical dramas a bit tragic

so far there has been some sad moments, but over all I think the drama is pretty brilliant.

The ending was disappointing. There were too many characters and most weren't given proper screen time, so if something happened to them I didn't really care. Overall I wouldn't recommend this drama

I'm always surprised at how she is able to completely change her look to adapt to the character.

for all those curious, from just watching the first two eps. This has the mood of a suspense crime drama with some splashes of comedy.
