Title My Engineer
He's speaking mandarin and they dubbed over his voice. The Chinese campagny financing the drama imposed them to…
There's a few scenes sporadically throughout the series where you can hear the actor's real voice when he spoke some Thai words that he did know. It's not a lot of times, but it is there.

Title Eye Contact (Uncut Ver.) Spoiler
Saw all the hate on the cut version reviews, so I had to take a watch but chose.

Honestly, I get it, but I also see the potential it could've had if it had been written better and been fleshed out more. If they had taken out the high school and GL storylines (maybe had those as a spinoff) and just focused on the two couples (but very much change the Jorn and Chain storyline cause wtaf), it could've been really good. The biggest problem was things were happening so fast - like the main couple starting out not liking each other, yet by the beginning of episode 2, Sun is smitten after one hookup (Nu must be magic in bed or something, drunk or not). Then, all of a sudden, episodes later, Nu is talking about how madly in love with Sun he is, even though they've had no opportunity to show their relationship growing. Everything was just super fast and just felt rushed. There was no real opportunity to enjoy or see a progression happening.

Then we have Jorn and Chain and holy smokes is that a dumpster fire. I'm not gonna lie, I do have a guilty pleasure in weird hate-to-love toxic relationships (VegasPete, anybody?!) but Jorn is a d*mn psycho (not that Vegas also wasn't one)!! Obviously, judging by the flashbacks of Chain's conversation with Jorn's ex, there was nothing going on between the two, at least not in the way Jorn thinks there was. But even if something had gone on, Jorn took his revenge beyond the extreme. Seeing as I haven't read the books, I'm going to assume once Jorn found out the truth about his ex and Chain, he's going to do everything he can to repent, and it's honestly just too bad we'll most likely never see that happen in a second season (which production was clearly setting up for) and we are basically left with this sour taste in our mouths.

The other two stories, as I said, would've been great as their own spinoff stories. The high school continually confused me to no-end because there was absolutely no explanation as to how they fit in or are related to the college students until we finally meet Sun's little sister who is part of the high school episodes later. I honestly just skipped the entire storyline because it was a very weird atmosphere shift to go from university issues, then all of a sudden into a high school election. The GL storyline I also skipped honestly just because it didn't really interest me as much.

Overall, the series had potential but it definitely falls short. If you have a free day to waste, it's worth a shot but ABSOLUTELY SKIP THE JORN/CHAIN KIDNAPPING/R**E SCENE if it makes you uncomfortable. There was way too much time spent on that scene. WAY TOO MUCH.

5.5/10 stars

Title Burnout Syndrome Spoiler
Absolutely agree. If you rewatch the ending though, we truly didn’t get a HEA but a more realistic I don’t…
Very true!! I did actually appreciate that they went that route instead of "let's just ignore everything and get back together". Leaving it the way they did was still good.

This drama is definitely going to be one of those ones that I will be thinking about for the weeks to come - and maybe even doing a full rewatch later this year. OffGun truly prove why they are so popular time and time again. Dew seriously blew this one out of the water - his portrayal of Pheem and his obsession was so good. AJ and Emi were also fantastic. Just overall loved it - however I will say, I honestly would've been happy with a more open-ended or even unhappy ending. This is one of the few times where I truly kept thinking "maybe don't get together until you both get proper help...especially Koh." I knew that wouldn't happen, so I won't complain too much about it.

guys can someone tell me why phoon's dad did not want him to be close to tonfahI am confused 🤔
Phoon's dad basically looks up to Fah's parents and he doesn't want them to know about his affair that resulted in Phoon's conception, or Fun's death/subsequent divorce with Fun's mother. He's afraid that they would no longer like him if his secrets got out.

I truly enjoyed this serious so much. I can see Pooh really improving in his acting and he's taken giant steps to do so. Even Pavel is getting better and better with every series he's done. I also loved this genre - horror/thriller/crime series are some of my favorites and I'm happy the BL industry is taking more steps to get out of the high school/university themes. Also the production quality was really good and the makeup was fantastic.

Having said all of that, episode 12 annoyed me so much - and some of the lines delivered in this final episode have also annoyed me (Sey I'm looking at you) - that I had to bring my overall rating down. Episode 12 annoyed me so much that it would periodically pop into my head this past week and I would get so frustrated rethinking the decisions made lol.

Still enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it to people interested in this type of genre. Congratulations to the cast and crew. 8.5/10

As somebody involved in the music world and seeing the same thing happening involving AI and music creation, I truly am in love with this series. As always, OffGun are killing it, but Dew and AJ are absolutely fantastic in this! Dew in the rage room scene deserves an award - his raw emotion was palpable.

Right! Like YOU interrupted their ritual so why wouldn't they do it at the same place again. Then the fact that…
Yes! Every single person that they knew would be want and just leave them to their own devices! Darin??? "Oh I can just go to the bathroom alone. It's fiiiinnnnee." I wanted to bang my head against the wall with every choice in this episode.

I truly couldn't have said this part better myself, "Doing every thing right, rationally, and to the best of your ability and still managed to have the killers overpower you. " SPOT. ON!

Not gonna lie, this episode just made me angry. Spent the whole time yelling at my computer "JUST GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL MALL THAT THIS ALL STARTED IN. COME ON, THIS IS POLICING 101!!" They used every dumb trope that you see in crime thrillers/horrors. I understand the reasoning, in order to get ready for the climactic ending, but it's still just truly infuriating.

Review Every You, Every Me Spoiler
In episode 4, the last conversation with his friend is about him making that decision to go to Switzerland to end his life. His illness looked like it was probably MS (multiple sclerosis), or Parkinson's or some other neurological disorder, which means he will gradually deteriorate to the point of not having mobility or an ability to communicate and will need constant care. Because of this, he is worried about becoming a burden to the ones he loves, so that's why he was saying it was "selfish" of him to stay longer and cancel his plans to go to Switzerland. He doesn't want other people to sacrifice themselves to help take care of him when he gets worse.

Also your review is so amazing and ultimately why I finally sat down to watch this, and I'm so glad I did. Thank you!

Say that again...I mean the ghost needs 7 sacrifices for everyday of the week right ...can't she just take them…
Not the ghost. The ritual needs seven sacrifices. The ghost is just under the control of the person doing the sacrifices.

wait who is Bom??? the one that used the baseball bat?!? & what was that rash? his curse acting up? cause…
Bom is one of the Youtubers. The skin rash is a part of SLE (lupus) which is what Chaba's and Atikun's son had - the child that was going to the hospital until he was 3. However it could also be showing up because of the curse backfiring. That black arts shaman said that if Atikun didn't perform the seven-bodies ritual correctly, or it was incomplete, then it would backfire on Atikun and his son - hence why they are having to perform the ritual again so soon.
